Yang Chen
Yang Chen (1925-2000), female, from Tianjin, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of civil affairs.
He graduated from Tsinghua University in August 1948, took part in the revolution in August 1949, and joined the Communist Party of China in August 1954. He successively served as an officer of the Ministry of civil affairs of North China, an officer and Secretary of the Ministry of internal affairs, the deputy company commander of the May 7th cadre school of the Ministry of internal affairs, and the leader of the research group of the Mechanical Research Institute of the first Ministry of machinery. After the restoration of the Ministry of civil affairs in 1978, Yang Chen served as director and deputy director of the office of the special care Bureau of the Ministry of civil affairs, Vice Minister of the Ministry of civil affairs, member of the Party group of the Ministry of civil affairs, and consultant of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. She is a member of the seventh and eighth CPPCC National Committee. Comrade Yang Chen has accumulated rich working experience in the long-term practice of civil affairs work.
