Yang Fu
Yang Fu (605-619), Emperor Gong of Sui Dynasty, was born in Hongnong Huayin (now Huayin City, Shaanxi Province). The third emperor of the Sui Dynasty (from 617 to 618), the grandson of emperor Yang Guang of the Sui Dynasty, the third son of Yuande Prince Yang Zhao, whose mother was Wei Fei.
He was clever and magnanimous when he was young. He was appointed King Chen at the beginning and was renamed King Dai. When Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty went to Gaogouli, he stayed in Chang'an. In 615, Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty visited Jinyang and paid homage to the prefect of Taiyuan. In 617, Li Yuan, the Duke of Tang Dynasty, invaded Chang'an and became emperor. He was named Yining. In 618, Yining abdicated the throne to Li Yuan, the prime minister, who was granted the title of Duke of Chu and was imprisoned in Chang'an.
Wude two years (619), died of illness (one said killed), when 15 years old, buried in Zhuang Ling, posthumous title for Gong.
Life of the characters
Early experience
Yang Fu was born in 605, the first year of Daye. He is the grandson of Yang Guang, Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty. He is the third son of Yang Zhao, Prince of Yuande. His mother is Wei Fei. Yang Fu has been smart since he was a child and has extraordinary bearing. In the third year of Daye (607), he was granted the title of King Chen; later, he was changed to the title of King Dai, with 10000 households as food. Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty ordered Yang Fu to stay in Chang'an (today's Xi'an, Shaanxi Province) during his personal expedition to Koguryo.
In the 11th year of Daye (615), Yang Fu followed emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty to visit Jinyang (today's Taiyuan in Shanxi Province) and paid homage to the governor of Taiyuan. Soon, he guarded the capital.
He was made emperor
On May 15, 617, Li Yuan set up troops in Jinyang (now Taiyuan, Shanxi Province). On November 9, the same year, he conquered Daxing (now northwest of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province), the capital of Sui Dynasty. On November 16 (December 18, 617), Li yuanyao honored emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty as the supreme emperor and Yang Fu as the emperor. On that day, Yang Fu officially ascended the throne in Daxing hall and changed his name to "Yining".
Yang Fu is an emperor in name, but in fact he is just a puppet supported by Li Yuan. It was just that the time was not ripe for Li Yuan to seize the throne.
Abdication and death
In March of 618, Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty died in the mutiny of Jiangdu. According to the news, Li Yuan saw that the time was ripe for him to become emperor, so on May 14 of the same year (June 12, 618), he forced Yang Fu to give way to Chan Chan and became emperor himself, changing the name of the country to Tang, and Li Yuan was the Emperor of Tang. Yang Fu was granted the title of Duke of the state of Xi and lived in Chang'an. Yang Fu's reign lasted only 177 days.
On May 12, 619 (the first day of August, i.e. September 14, 619) in the second year of Wude, Yang Fu died. He was only 15 years old and was named emperor Gong. He was buried in zhuangling (500 meters south of Rutai village, Yanghong Township, Qian County, Shaanxi Province).
After the death of emperor Gongdi Yang Fu of Sui Dynasty, he had no offspring and was granted the Duke of the state of Fu by his family son Yang Xingji.
It is recorded in volume five of Sui history and volume twelve of northern history and volume twelve of Sui history.
Character evaluation
Wei Zheng et al's Sui Shu: ① "intelligent and magnanimous." ② "When Emperor Gong was young, he suffered a lot from his family. He lost his virtue and collapsed all over the world. A swarm of robber flies, a wolf takes the road, a South nest goes, and a stream * does not return. Since the bell was in the period of one hundred and six, he bowed and practiced his fortune, eulogized his belonging, and the Sheng bell became loud. Although he wanted to disobey the trace of Yao and Shun, he was mediocre enough to get it! "
Li Yanshou's northern history: "emperor Gong was born in youchong, and suffered from financial difficulties at home. A man loses his virtue, and all the seas collapse; he * s stolen from the sea, and the wolves are in the way. As soon as it reached the end of the century, it was the end of the year. Eulogizing has its own place, and Sheng bells ring. If you want to disobey the trace of Yao and Shun, you can get it. "

Mausoleum cemetery
Yang Fu, Emperor Gong of the Sui Dynasty, died and was buried in Zhuang Ling. Zhuang mausoleum is located 500 meters south of Rutai village, Yanghong Township, Qian County, Shaanxi Province. It is built on flat ground and sealed in the shape of a covered bucket. Its shape and scale are larger than those of Jing mausoleum. It is built on rammed earth and its perimeter is about 200 meters. There are no buildings on the ground. There are obvious burrows in the west of the sealed earth.
