Early experience
Born in 1981, Zhang Qingpeng grew up in Fushun. Although his parents were not athletes, they attached great importance to the physical training of their children. When I was in the fourth grade of primary school, the junior basketball team of Fushun sports school enrolled students from all over the city. After receiving the news, my mother sent Zhang Qingpeng to the city sports school and started regular basketball training.
Zhang Qingpeng's height at that time was no different from that of ordinary children, but Zhang Qingpeng had the characteristics of hard work, fast speed, lively mind, strong breakthrough ability and accurate long-range shot. He could play point guard or shooting guard, which deeply attracted the coaches. Therefore, Zhang Qingpeng became the absolute main force in the position of point guard in the team. Zhang Qingpeng's excellent performance soon attracted Cui Wanjun (former Liaoning Panpan coach), who was the coach of the youth team of Liaoning sports school at that time. Cui took Zhang Qingpeng to the provincial sports school, and joined Liaoning Panpan first team in 2001-2002 season, and got the opportunity to play.
