Wu Chun is a Ph.D. pianist from the school of music, drama and media in Hanover, Germany, and a Ph.D. in piano performing arts and music arts from the Odessa National Conservatory of music in Ukraine. He is the only Chinese pianist who has received three Ph.D. degrees and 16 international awards. He is a resident artist of Tsinghua University, an artist of Steinway, and an honorary professor of the Piano Department of Odessa National Institute of music, Ukraine. He is currently teaching in the Central Conservatory of music.
Character experience
As a child, he was enlightened by Professor Chen Wan, former director of the Piano Department of Wuhan Conservatory of music, and won the first prize in the domestic Piano Competition many times. in 1998, he was admitted to the Piano Department of Odessa National Institute of music, Ukraine, and studied under Professor Karina popova. In 2003, he obtained a master's degree in performance and music theory, and continued to study for a doctor's degree in piano performing arts and a doctor's degree in music arts. in 2004, he was admitted to solo Klass, School of music, drama and media, Hannover, Germany, and studied for his Ph.D. in piano performance under the guidance of famous piano master Vladimir krainev. in 2006, he received a doctor's degree in piano performing arts from Odessa National Music Institute of Ukraine, and in 2013, he received a doctor's degree in music arts. in 2014, he obtained the doctor's degree of performer from the school of music, drama and media, Hannover, Germany with the most outstanding achievements. Since 1999, Dr. Wu Chun has won 16 international awards, including the gold medal in Prokofiev International Piano Competition, the first prize in Lisenko International Piano Competition, the gold medal in Giles International Piano Competition, the third prize in Horowitz International Piano Competition, the second prize in kleinev International Piano Competition, the third prize in Brescia International piano competition, and the third prize in Liszt International Piano Competition Fourth place in the international piano competition. At the end of 2001, he received a congratulatory letter from former Ukrainian President Kuchma. in March 2003, he was invited to serve as the judge of the Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competition and became the youngest judge of the international competition. In the same year, he was rated as the best international student by Odessa National Music Research Institute of Ukraine. He was also rated as the best international student by the Ministry of education of Ukraine for three consecutive years and obtained a lifelong green card. In 2003, Dr. Wu Chun and her mother, Ms. Wu Zhanghong, CO authored and published the book "mother and son playing together to stimulate the sound of Qin". In 2007, she published "my mother accompanies you to fly". In 2008, he published a little bit every day. In 2013, he published crazy for dreams. in June 2017, Dr. Wu Chun signed a contract with Tsinghua University to become a resident artist of Tsinghua University. In the same month, he was awarded the title of "Steinway artist". in March 2018, Dr. Wu Chun signed a contract with KUKE music to record the album piano Fugue, which was released in December of the same year. Dr. Wu Chun has been invited to hold piano solo concerts, concertos, ensemble and chamber music concerts in Chinese mainland city, and Russia, the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Austria, Czech, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Japan and other countries. the conductors Dr. Wu Chun has cooperated with include D.
