Entertainment
Zhang Changcheng created two vivid characters, Gai Jigang and Wang Zuo, in the Chaozhou drama "suizhuo" and "naokaifeng", which left a deep impression on audiences at home and abroad. In his 40 years of stage career, most of his characters are dignified, magnificent and tall. In fact, Zhang Changcheng himself is not tall. He is less than 1.6 meters tall. Many actresses in the troupe are more than 1.6 meters tall. Standing with them, he is a little shorter. But he has made some technical compensations. For example, the soles of his boots on stage are generally about 2 inches high, but the soles of his boots should be specially made to make them up to 4.5 inches high. However, the most important thing is that Or is it that he deals with the body movements during the stage performance, and makes the audience feel high. For example, the old students of Chaozhou Opera often use "Fanzhi" and "Chaotian Zhi" to lift them up to the top of their eyebrows, but they lift them higher than their heads, which gives people the feeling of "open" and "tall". In footwork, he uses the T-shaped horse step more than the eight character horse step, because the eight character horse step squats down, while the T-shaped horse step appears high spirited and straight; in appearance or pause processing, he uses the side body less, but uses the front body more, because when the side body, the audience looks small from the stage; this is the processing of the body movement itself. In dealing with the relationship with the characters on the same stage, he also pays attention to develop his strong points and avoid his weak points, especially in the scene of binding frame, he often makes a contrast between high and low. For example, in naokaifeng, when Wang you finally holds the chain to lock the arrogant Mrs. Gaoming, Wang Zuo acts as a "golden rooster", waving the chain with one hand high, while Mrs. Gaoming squats and squats. One is high and the other is low, and Wang Zuo's image becomes tall. In addition to the body movements, Zhang Changcheng is also in the high and low Yang Yang, Xu Ji on the speed of handling properly, to strengthen his character image building spirit. In a word, Zhang Changcheng uses all kinds of artistic means to make up for the lack of his own conditions and make the characters he plays tall and bold.
