Mr. Qin
Qin Dashi, Han nationality, was born in 1715. He was named Luyi, Jianquan, Fuquan and Qiutian old man. He was born in Jiangning (now Nanjing). He was the number one scholar in 1752 of Qianlong's 17th year. He is famous for his Confucianism and virtue. He is famous for his poetry, calligraphy and painting. Biography
His ancestral home is Dangtu, Anhui Province. At the end of Chongzhen period in Ming Dynasty, Qin Yinghu, the great grandfather of Qin, went from Dangtu to Nanjing to avoid chaos and lived in an alley in jubaomen (now Zhonghua Gate). His father, Qin Youlun, had seven sons, ranking second. He was smart and studious when he was young. At the age of 10, he was able to write poems and compositions. When he was young, he was famous for his calligraphy, so much so that he could support his family. At the age of 23, he passed the examination in Jiangnan Gongyuan. At the age of 38, he went to Beijing to take the exam. In the Empress Dowager's 60th birthday Enke, he became the 43rd champion since the founding of the Qing Dynasty. According to the Convention, the alley where Mr. Qin was born was named Qin Zhuangyuan alley by local officials.
After the number one scholar in senior high school, Mr. Qin was granted the Imperial Academy to write and master the history of the country. Emperor Qianlong appreciated the talent and integrity of Mr. Qin and made him an examiner of the imperial examination. Ma Quan, who was promoted by him, became a general in the northwest frontier and died in the rebellion. Emperor Qianlong promoted him to be a scholar of Imperial Academy, teaching the princes to read. According to the records in the Grand View of Qing Dynasty unofficial history, Emperor Qianlong had doubts about his life experience. Ask him: "are you really Qin Hui's offspring?" He replied, "once the emperor, once the courtiers.". The result of the investigation: Qin Dashi is the descendant of Qin Zi, an honest and upright official in Song Dynasty. Perhaps because of this family background, the Qin family reached its peak in the Qianlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang dynasties. In the 28th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, he retired and returned to Jinling. Qin Chengen, the eldest son of Shaanxi governor at that time, bought he ruchong's mansion to support his father. He Rucong was the prime minister in Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty, and the street in front of the gate was called dafudi. After he left his post and moved to dafudi, he planted four trees in the garden, namely, cypress, catalpa, tung tree and bamboo tree. The garden was named Zhanyuan, which was inherited by generations of scholars. There is still a magnolia tree in the garden. It is as white as snow in summer. It's very beautiful and it's also planted by the master in that year.
After he became the number one scholar, he was appointed to the Imperial Academy to write. In the second year, he was appointed as the examiners in Shuntian township. In the next year, he was appointed as the chief executive officer of Xian'an palace and the chief executive officer of official Academy. He returned home with his mother's grief. In the 22nd year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, when the emperor fuque was restored to the official position, the great master of Qin taught the learned and good-natured scholars to go to the study and wait on the prince to read. In the 23rd year of Qianlong reign, Han Zhan, a great scholar of Qin Dynasty, was promoted to the Imperial Academy. In the 24th year of Qianlong reign, he was appointed as the Deputy examiner of shuntianwu Township examination. Mr. Qin was ordered to report to Beiyue and other places. In the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong, he was appointed as the examiner of the examination. In the 27th year of Qianlong reign, Mr. Qin became the chief examiner of Fujian provincial examination. In the 28th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong, he was also the examiner of the examination. So he asked for a long holiday to take care of his father, and he put off the sick to extend the holiday. In fact, he had no intention of coming back. In the 35th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, Mr. Qin went to Beijing to celebrate Emperor Qianlong's birthday. The next year, I congratulated the Empress Dowager on her 80th birthday. When his colleagues saw that he was still in good spirits, they urged him to return to office. He politely declined him, so he did not return. In his spare time at home, Mr. Qin once presided over the Longcheng Academy. In his later years, he only loved LV Kun's "groans".
Mr. Qin has been the examiners for many years. He has read all the papers and done his duty. He has got a lot of talents. He was conscientious in his duty. Mr. Qin advised the prince to be meticulous in his studies. He has been engaged in training and selecting talents for a long time, which is very effective.
Lu Wenzhen, a Bachelor of the Imperial Academy, has a rubbings of the Han Dynasty's stele of Zhang Qian. Mr. Qin loved them and asked Lu Wenzhen to transfer them to him. Lu refused. One day, while Lu Wenchang was out, Mr. Qin slipped into his study and took away the rubbings. When Lu Wenchen knew about it, he went back to the family of Mr. Qin and took back the rubbings. Less than half a month later, Mr. Qin died of an emergency. Lu went to pay homage to the dead, took out the rubbings from his sleeve, and cried, "I knew I would be farewell to you forever. Why was I so stingy at that time! I'm very worried about this. Today I'm here to make up for my mistake. " So he burned the rubbings to send them to the dead of Qin.
He was good at poetry and painting. The poem is elegant, the style of ODE and the verve of Fu. The article benefits from Su Laoquan. He once wrote a poem and sang the holy Xiyu poem, which was awarded by Emperor Qianlong. Mr. Qin once gave lectures on Longcheng academy and Zhiyang Academy. His calligraphy includes seal, Li, Xing and Cao. He is good at painting, especially bamboo. Therefore, it is called "three unique skills" of poetry, calligraphy and painting. In the 42nd year of Qianlong, he died at home.
According to legend, during the reign of Qianlong, Qin Jianquan, the number one scholar, was the favorite student of the famous poet Yuan Mei. One day, Qin Jianquan visited the tomb of King Yue with his former poetry friends. There is a kneeling statue of Qin Hui and his wife made of iron in front of the tomb of the king of Yue. On both sides, there is a couplet written in the tone of mutual complaint between Qin Hui and his wife. The couplet is: "cough! I have lost my heart. How can I have a good wife! Although a woman has a long tongue, she is not an old thief Friends of the poem laugh after reading it, joking that the new number one scholar, also surnamed Qin, is their descendant, and asked him to write a couplet to record the journey. Qin Jianquan grinned bitterly and waved his pen. The couplet is: "people from the Song Dynasty after the shame of Hui, I went to the grave shame of Qin." He is really good at wording. There is also such a legend, which says: "when the great master of Qin palace was in the dynasty, one day (the emperor) I asked:" is your family the queen of Qin Hui? " Qin (great scholar) had nothing to say, but he said to him, "one emperor, one courtier." It can also be said that the answer is ingenious.
Qin had a lot of contacts with Jinling celebrities. Yuan Mei, a famous litterateur, went to Nanjing to be the magistrate of Jiangning County. On the stone wall of Yanziji, he saw a poem with an inscription: "the fishing fire only suspects that the stars are pouring out, and the bells want to fight for water." Knowing that it was the title of master Qin, they became intimate friends from then on. Zeng Xiangkai visited the Qinhuai River, enjoying the scenery along the river, the golden powder of the Six Dynasties, and the prosperous water and moon. When he saw the scenery, he sang a poem of seven wonders: "the golden powder is floating, the wild grass is new, and the girl sleeps the cold body every day. Sad slow do not sad past, huaishui now still surnamed Qin The last sentence won the acclaim of Yuan Da Cai Zi and was popular for a time. It is precisely this last sentence that has profound meaning for Mr. Qin.
Mr. Qin was famous for his calligraphy and painting. Bao Shichen of the Qing Dynasty commented on Qin Dashi's "excellent running script" in his "double boats of art boats" In addition, his flower paintings are also outstanding.

Posterity evaluation
He called his poems, calligraphy and paintings three unique skills. After he became the number one scholar, he kept improving and wrote the selected works of Zhaoming under the order of Qianlong. Bao Shichen, a famous calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty, divides the calligraphers of the Qing Dynasty into five grades and nine grades in his Yizhou Shuangji, and Qin Dashi is listed as "capable grade". In the former residence of Westinghouse, there are also inscriptions written by Qin Zhuangyuan in four styles: Zheng, Cao, Li and Zhuan, each of which is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. In his later years, he was fond of painting. He was especially good at writing bamboo and sometimes freehand flowers.
As a native of Jinling, Mr. Qin left many relics in Jinling. Especially in the southern part of the city, there are many great men's inscriptions in ink. The plaque of "the first school in Southeast China" in Dacheng Hall of Confucius Temple was inscribed by a senior scholar. When he returned to his hometown as an official, he could either stay at home or go on a trip, strolling in the landscape and gardens. Niushou mountain, Sheshan mountain (today's Qixia mountain), longjiangguan, Wulongtan, all have his footprints; the Hanbi tower in Longtan, the ice nest in taoxiang, all have the top scholar's recitation.
One day, Mr. Qin and a group of literary friends went to Hangzhou to visit the West Lake. When I came to Yuefei's tomb, I saw Qin Hui and his wife tied their hands and knelt down to the tomb of the king of Yue. A friend deliberately pulled him to write a couplet. The shrewd master Qin didn't refuse or give any explanation. He slowly wrote: "people are ashamed of their surname Hui since the Song Dynasty; I am ashamed of my surname Qin when I go to the grave." Since then, it has added a good story to the West Lake of Hangzhou.
Memorial of former residence
There is a courtyard on Changle Road, Qinhuai District, Nanjing, which has experienced more than 300 years of vicissitudes. Standing at the gate and looking to the north, you can see the high walls and deep courtyard, the buildings overlapping, and the momentum is magnificent. This is the former residence of Qin Dashi, the number one scholar in Qing Dynasty. Now it has been renovated and has become the memorial hall of the Qin Dynasty.
