Literary ugliness
Wen Chou (?)? ~In the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yuan Shao was appointed to the Ministry.
Literary ugliness is the courage of a man. In the fifth year of Jian'an (200 years), he led General Liu Bei to enter Yanjin and mistakenly hit the plan of "baiting the enemy" by Xun you, Cao Cao's military adviser. His "five or six thousand cavalry" was defeated by Cao Cao's cavalry. Wen Chou himself also died in the army and was buried in Yuzhou City, Henan Province.
In the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms of the Ming Dynasty, this period of history is adapted as Guan Yu.
Life of the characters
Yan Liang was a general under Yuan Shao in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It has a reputation. Yan Liang and Wen Chou were both famous as the brave generals of Yuan Shao's army. Kong Rong took Yan Liang and Wen Chou as the representatives of Yuan Shao's army and advised Cao Cao to be careful of them.
In the fifth year of Jian'an (200), Yuan Shao sent troops to attack Cao Cao. In the first battle of the two armies, Cao Cao scattered the main forces of Yuan Shao who had gathered in Liyang to attack the white horse, broke the siege of the white horse, and killed Yan Liang, Yuan Shao's general in charge of the attack. Cao Cao thought that the white horse was not suitable for defense, so he took the initiative to give up his stronghold in the white horse and moved population and materials westward along the river. Yuan Shao crossed the river to pursue Cao Cao's transport team. But Cao Cao was reluctant to leave the land between Guandu and the Yellow River to Yuan Jun. He wanted to resist Yuan Shao's March and let yuan Jun pay a heavy price before returning to Guandu. Because of Cao Cao's feint in the white horse battle, Yuan Shao's forward troops advanced along the river to Yanjin in the West. They probably crossed the river there without being stopped by Cao Cao's army. At this time, Yuan Shao was almost in the north of Cao Cao's fortifications and Xudu, the capital of Guandu.
Cao Cao's army arrived in Yanjin and set up a camp in nanosaka, 20 Li to the West and 50 Li to the south of Baima. Because Cao Cao's camp was on the south side of the flood control dam some distance away from the river bank, Yuan Shao could not see Cao Cao when Cao Cao sent sentries to spy on Yuan Jun's movement. At first, the scout reported that there were five or six hundred cavalry on the road. Later, he reported that there was a slight increase in cavalry and that there were countless infantry. Cao Cao did not let the spies report again, but let the riders unload their saddles. Baima County transport team appeared in the north side of the dam, in the view of Yuan Shaojun. Some of Cao Cao's generals were upset by the large number of enemy cavalry and suggested that they return to garrison. Xun you, the military strategist, objected: "this is our way to lure the enemy! How can we leave? "
Yuan Shao's cavalry generals Wen Chou and Liu Bei led 5000 or 6000 cavalry to chase them. Cao Cao's soldiers wanted to mount the horse, but Cao Cao did not allow them until Yuan Shao's cavalry became more and more and dispersed to plunder materials. At this time, Cao Cao let the sergeant mount, Cao Cao's less than 600 sergeants jumped on the horse to attack yuan Jun. Yuan Shaojun was defeated and Wenchou was killed.

Tomb site
Wenchou's tomb is located in Yuzhou City, Henan Province. The West peak of Sanfeng mountain is located on the blue river. There is zhaizijia village in the southwest of Xifeng. There are Wenchou tombs in the south, Wenchou temple in the East and Xingguo temple in the north. Zhaizijia, Southeast of Hongchang Township, is located between Moshi mountain and Xifeng mountain. In the south of the village, there is a tomb of Wenchou, which is a huge earth tomb. In the east of the village, there is a temple of Wenchou, with only two tile roofed houses and one stele Pavilion. In recent years, the village houses have been expanded, and the temple houses have been enclosed in the village with village run flour mills. There is a big slope in the east of the village, known as "baimapo". It is said that Guan Yu fought against Wen Chou in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. The descendants of Wenchou settled here, and the village was named wenjiazhai. Located in the depression between the two posts, the settlement is long from east to west, without planning, with an area of 0.21 square kilometers. There are north and South streets connected with East and west streets and alleys, and the layout is evacuation. At the end of Ming Dynasty, the surname Wen declined. Jia's family name came from Jia Lou, Jia County. The village name is zhaizijia.
According to the villagers, the Wenchou tomb is very tall, and the Wenchou temple is also very effective. In the summer of 1929, there was a continuous rain, a mountain torrent broke out, the flood came suddenly, and the village was annihilated. The villagers all ran to Wenchou tomb to avoid the water. We can see the height of Wenchou tomb.
In April 1925, Wei Guozhu, the bandit leader, led more than a thousand people, and even sank into Pojie, Hongchang and zhaihua. The head of zhaizijia dreams of Wenchou warning him. The next day, the village leaders set up a "elm spray" (big iron gun) on the village, and tried to fire northward, but it didn't make a sound. They tried to fire southwestward and fired twice in a row. Who knows the bandits are coming to the village from the southwest, and these two guns just fall in front of the bandit team. When the bandits saw that the village was well prepared and knew that they could not attack, they retreated to the West. The stockade is hard to get rid of.
