Fusu
Fu Su (?)? ~210 BC), surnamed Ying, named Fusu, from Xianyang (now Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province). He is the eldest son of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty.
He is resolute and brave. He believes in others and works hard. He is benevolent and has political foresight. He spoke out to his father and opposed the killing of more than 460 illegal people, which angered the first emperor of Qin Dynasty. He was ordered to go to Shangjun to help general Meng Tian build the great wall and resist the Huns.
In the 37th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (210 BC), after the death of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, the imperial edict was issued to help Su govern his funeral and ascend the throne. Zhao Gao and Li Si, the prime minister, were ordered by Zhongche government to support Hu Hai, the 18th son of the first emperor, to ascend the throne. Fu Su was forced to commit suicide and was buried in Shangjun (now Suide County, Shaanxi Province).
Life of the characters
Dare to speak out
Fusu, the eldest son of Qin Shihuang. In the 35th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (212 BC), Hou Sheng and Lu Sheng ridiculed each other and commented on the tyranny of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, so they fled. The first emperor of Qin was furious, so he ordered the censor to arrest and interrogate the Warlocks in Xianyang city. The Warlocks denounced each other, and Qin Shihuang himself sentenced more than 460 people who had violated the law and regulations to bury them alive in Xianyang.
Fu Su wrote a letter to Qin Shihuang to advise him about the first emperor's pit of warlocks, saying: "the world has just been stable, and the people in the remote areas have not yet been attached to it. The Confucian scholars have read and imitated Confucius's words, but now his majesty has dealt with them with severe criminal law, and he worries that the world will be unstable. I hope your majesty will see clearly. " Qin Shihuang was so angry that he sent Fu Su to Shangjun to supervise Meng Tian's army and help Meng Tian build the great wall against the northern nomadic Xiongnu.
Forced suicide
In the 37th year of Emperor Qinshihuang (210 BC), Emperor Qinshihuang toured the world again. In July of that year, when he arrived at the dune, he was seriously ill. Qin Shihuang ordered Zhao Gao to write an imperial edict to Fusu. The content of the imperial edict was to ask Fusu to hand over the military power to Meng Tian and quickly return to Xianyang to preside over the funeral and inherit the throne. At that time, the imperial edict had been sealed, and before he could deliver it to the messenger, the first emperor of Qin died. After the death of Qin Shihuang, Zhao Gao, Prime Minister Li Si and others conspired with Hu Hai, the youngest son of Qin Shihuang, to tamper with the imperial edict of Qin Shihuang and make Hu Hai the crown prince. At the same time, he forged an imperial edict and gave it to Fusu, listed the sins of Fusu and Mengtian, and ordered them to commit suicide.
Hu Hai sent envoys to send the imperial edict to Fusu in Shangjun. When Fusu saw the contents of the imperial edict, he weeped and went into the inner house, ready to commit suicide. Meng Tian stopped Fu Su and said, "Your Majesty is out now, and you haven't set up a prince yet. Send me to lead 300000 troops to guard the frontier, and let you supervise it. This is a major task related to the safety of the world! Now you want to commit suicide just because of the arrival of an emissary. How do you know that this is not a treacherous trick? I ask you to ask for instructions again. It's not too late to die after asking for instructions! " The emissary pressed Meng Tian again and again. Fu Su said to Meng Tian, "if the father orders his son to commit suicide, what else can he ask for?" Then he committed suicide. After Fusu died, Hu Hai ascended the throne for Qin II.
Fusu had a good reputation, so when Chen Sheng and Wu Guang revolted against the tyranny of Qin II in daze Township, Chen Sheng said: "the world has been ruled by the tyrant of Qin for a long time. I heard that Qin II was the youngest son of the first emperor of Qin. He should not succeed to the throne, but the son Fu Su. Because Fu Su repeatedly admonished Qin Shihuang, Qin Shihuang sent him to lead the troops stationed in other places. Now it is said that Fusu was not guilty, but Qin II killed him. All the people heard about Fu Su Xianming, but they didn't know that he was dead. Xiang Yanyuan was a general of the state of Chu. He made many contributions to the war and took good care of his soldiers. After Chu's death, some people thought he was dead, others thought he was hiding. Now, if we call on the people of the world to revolt by pretending to be Fu Su and Xiang Yan, a lot of people should respond. "
Anecdotes and allusions
According to the mystery of Qin Dynasty, it is speculated that the mother of Fusu was from the state of Chu.
The name of Fusu comes from "there is Fusu in the mountain". Fusu is the ancient people's description of lush branches and leaves of trees. It comes from the book of songs, which means vanilla and good wood. Qin Shihuang named it after him, which shows his love for this son and his infinite expectation.

It is said that Fusu and general Meng Tian led the army to build a city and defend the border against Xiongnu, but they were framed by treacherous officials and died unjustly. After Fusu died, local people built Fusu temple in memory of him. After that, Yuan Hong, Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, sent a secretary to offer sacrifices. Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, granted the title of "king of Baizhi" and ordered Yuchi Gong to supervise the work to expand the temple.
