Xu county
Xu county now belongs to Xuchang. With a long history and outstanding people, Xuchang is one of the important birthplaces of the Chinese nation. During the reign of Tang Yao, the Xuyou tribe flourished here and praised the land. In Shang Dynasty, Kunwu moved to Xu. King Wu of Zhou destroyed Zhou and granted uncle Wen, a descendant of Taiyue, a baron of Xu. The reason why Xu county was set up in Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty. In 196 ad, Cao Cao welcomed the emperor of Han Dynasty and promised to "serve the emperor in order not to serve his ministers, cultivate and plant in order to accumulate military funds", which made Xuchang the political, economic and cultural center of northern China at that time. In 220 AD, Cao Pi, Emperor Wen of Wei Dynasty, established Wei on behalf of Han Dynasty. Because Wei Jichang was in Xu, Xu county was changed to Xu Chang, which is still in use today. Over the past few thousand years, Xuchang has witnessed many outstanding people. Lu Buwei, the Prime Minister of the Qin Dynasty, Chao Cuo, the famous Prime Minister of the Western Han Dynasty, Xun Shu, the famous scholar of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhong Yao, the founder of regular script, Guo Jia, the famous counselor of Cao Cao, and Wu Daozi, the painting saint of the Tang Dynasty, were all born here. Ouyang Xiu, Fan Zhongyan, Su Shi and Su Zhe, famous statesmen and writers in history, all lived in Xuchang and gave lectures. Xuchang is also one of the important birthplaces of the ancestral roots of surnames. The roots of surnames such as Xu, Chen, Zhong and Fang are deeply rooted in Xuchang, maintaining the emotional ties of Chinese people at home and abroad.
Qin Zhi Xu county (now the old city of zhangpan, Xuchang County, Henan Province) belongs to Yingchuan county. In 9 A.D., Yingchuan county was changed to the left team, and Xu county belonged to the left team. In 25 years, Yingchuan county was restored in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and Xu county still belonged to the county. In August of the first year of Jian'an (196), Emperor Xian moved his capital to Xu county (now the old city of zhangpan, Xuchang County, Henan Province). In 221, Emperor Wen Cao Pi changed Xu county into Xuchang County by saying "Han Dynasty died in Xu, Wei Jichang in Xu". It still belongs to Yingchuan county. The Sixteen States of the Western Jin Dynasty were destroyed.
