But in the 24th Olympic Games of the same year, he won the eighth place with only 19.82 meters. It was a big blow for her to get this position. She put in harder training. In March 1989, she took part in the second world indoor track and field championship, competing with the world's strong players again, and won the second place with 20.25m. In August of the same year, in a competition in Beijing, he showed his strong strength with three trial shots exceeding 21 meters, and achieved the first good result in the world with 21.28 meters. Huang Zhihong, the only athlete in Chinese track and field history who won medals in the world cup, world championships and Olympic Games. For an athlete, it is very rare to be able to create such a good performance in his sports career. But for Huang Zhihong, she once had a chance to upgrade the title of "three major medal winner" to the great cause of "three crown" in history. Unfortunately, in Barcelona in the midsummer of 1992, Huang Zhihong failed to grasp this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The gap of 60 cm made her miss the title of "Treble". Huang Zhihong is the biggest hope for China's track and field team to win gold in the 1992 Olympic Games. When everyone thought that she would win the first gold medal of Chinese track and field Olympic Games and make history, she failed to give full play to her own level and gave the title of "first gold winner" to Chen Yueling, a woman walking racer. Huang Zhihong's effort to throw only in exchange for the result of 20.47 meters, but her main competitor unexpectedly threw a good result of 21.06 meters. It is this 60 cm gap that makes Huang Zhihong miss the Olympic gold medal with regret, leaving a lifelong regret. Huang Zhihong was not depressed by her failure in the Olympic Games. In the fourth world track and Field Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 and the Seventh World Cup in London in 1997, Huang Zhihong once again proved her king position in the field of women's shot put. In addition to creating brilliance time and again in the track and field, "Huang's smile" has also become a beautiful scenery. Her smile even makes her more enigmatic and puts more pressure on her opponents. Even if she loses, it's hard for Huang Zhihong to let people see her depression and realize her strong spirit of enduring any setbacks and striving forever.
