Xue Gang

The story of Xue Gang is a part of the series of Xue family generals in the folk storytelling and drama. Among them, the role is the grandson of Xue Rengui and the son of fan Lihua and Xue Dingshan. The origin of the text

The story of Xue gang can be divided into two systems. The common point of the two systems is that Xue Gang made a big trouble, causing his family to be destroyed. Later, Xue Gang gathered his troops to fight back to Chang'an and had to avenge his family. However, in the story system represented by the Peking Opera Xu CE running to the city, the main character of Xue Gang's rebellion is Zhang Tai, a treacherous minister in the court. At the end of the story, Xu CE, an old loyal minister, mediates between two aspects, making the emperor decide to kill the treacherous minister as Xue Zhaoxue, and Xue Gang strikes. The story system represented by the novel anti Tang Romance connects Xue Gang's story with Wu Zetian's plot to usurp the Tang Dynasty's throne. The anti Wu Zetian forces represented by Xue Gang successively protect Lu Ling King Li Xian and Prince Li Dan, and finally defeat Wu Zetian and her residual power to restore Li Tang Dynasty. Li Zhi, the third Emperor Gaozong, faints behind the scenes. Soon after, he died because of ineffective rescue. His last words are that the Xue family has made great contributions. Don't involve the Xue family. Zhongzong Lixian, the eldest son of Emperor Gaozong, ascended the throne. She obeyed the orders of Emperor Gaozong and angered empress dowager Wu Zetian. With the support of Zhang Wu's family, she abandoned Zhongzong as the king of Luling. She called herself emperor and established Dazhou. She ordered to behead Xue's family, build tieqiu tomb and arrest Xue gang. And killed a group of Tang clan and loyal ministers.

Xue Gang's marriage

Reviving the Tang Dynasty

Xue Gang marched north to conquer Chang'an and drive away Zhang Wu's party. At this time, Zhongzong was cheated. Zhao Yao, a spy of southern China, was cheated by Xue Gang, and he was abducted. Xue gang in exile learned that he was in charge of the second time. He decided that the customs would fight Jiao Yanxiong, and the sword would break the sword. In the end, Ruizong won. In a rage, Xue gang went back to Shanxi pingliao palace to pretend to be ill and live in seclusion. However, Xue Qiang, the commander-in-chief of Hanyang, had to ask Xue Gang back by Cheng Yaojin. Moved by the true feelings of Ruizong's monarchs and ministers, Xue Gang came out of the mountain three times as commander in chief, and Jiuyan mountain recruited generals and rushed to the front of Dingguan customs. The leader smashed yunancheng, captured Zhang's party, beheaded them in front of tieqiu grave, and opened tieqiu grave. Cheng Yaojin died in front of tieqiu grave. Before he died, Cheng Yaojin advised Xue gang that Wu Sansi had nothing to do with the Xue family's murder. He could not kill innocent people indiscriminately. Otherwise, he and the Xue family would be harmed. Xue gang did not kill Wu Sansi.

Xue Gang's mother fan Lihua succeeded in cultivating immortals, but Xue gang was troubled by the dispute between Li Xian and Li Dan. His brother Xue Qiang, Xu, Qin, Luo and other founding fathers all had the strange phenomenon that his brother protected Li Xian and his brother protected Li Dan. Historical archetype

There is a folk saying that Xue Gang's historical prototype is Xue Song, the Jiedu envoy of Tang Zhaoyi. In the romance of the Qing Dynasty, Xue Song is a representative figure of the Xue family. He assisted the emperor of the Tang Dynasty, defeated the eastern Liao state, and made great achievements together with the descendants of Qin long, Cheng Sihai, Luo Meng, Wei Chi Xiande and other Tang kingdoms.
