1. In 2002, he completed his doctoral dissertation "theory of Industrial Agglomeration" (later won the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation) and obtained the doctor's degree in economics. 2. In 2003, he published his doctoral dissertation "on Industrial Agglomeration" in "commercial press", a well-known century old publishing house in China. The book was printed four times in succession in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 (among them, it was first printed in October 2003. Due to the small printing volume, it was only transmitted among scholars but not widely distributed in the market, so the 2004 edition is commonly used by the citation.
