Ye yonglie (August 30, 1940 - May 15, 2020), male, from Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, graduated from the Department of chemistry, Peking University, is a famous novelist, historian and reportage writer. He is a first-class writer and professor of Shanghai Writers Association and a librarian of Shanghai Literature and history museum.

In his early years, he was engaged in science fiction creation with pseudonyms of Xiao Yong, Jiu yuan, Ye Yang, ye boat, etc. The main contents are novels and documentary literature. "Truth was born after a hundred question marks" was selected as Lesson 15 of the sixth grade Chinese textbook of the Ministry of education; its "label on the head of the bed" and "father of explosive industry Nobel" were selected as the sixth grade Chinese textbook of the Beijing Normal University Edition. He graduated from the Department of chemistry of Peking University in 1963 and later worked as a director in Shanghai Science and education film studio. In 1980, he was transferred to Shanghai Association of science and technology as a member of the Standing Committee to engage in professional writing. Since 1987, he has been a professional writer of Shanghai Association of writers and retired in 2000. He once served as a member of the Standing Committee of all China Youth Federation, vice chairman of Shanghai Science Popularization Creation Association, national member of China Association for science and technology, executive director of China Science Popularization Creation Association, and director of World Science Fiction Association.

Ye yonglie began to write at the age of 20.
