Ma Dingsheng
Ma Dingsheng is a Hong Kong Military commentator, anchor of Phoenix Satellite TV, member of Chinese modern military history society, and guest researcher of Guangdong Academy of social sciences. Ma Dingsheng is a native of Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong Province. His parents are ma Shizeng and hongxiannv, the top actors in Cantonese opera. Ma spent his youth in Beijing Tsinghua high school and graduated from the History Department of Guangzhou Sun Yat sen University. In 1980, he published his first paper "the victory and defeat of the Yellow Sea war between China and Japan". From 1982 to 1989, he worked in the Institute of history, Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences and published papers such as "eighteen days of the battle of Hong Kong".
