Wang Minchuan
Wang Minchuan sometimes only uses "Xi" as his pseudonym. Changhua was the last chairman of the Taiwan Cultural Association.
After graduating from the public school in 1919, he taught in Changhua public school. In 1919, he joined Waseda University and joined the enlightening society and the new democratic society. In 1920, he took up the work of Taiwan youth and joined the Taiwan Cultural Association. When he returned to Taiwan in 1922, he continued to work as a reporter for Taiwan youth and actively participated in the work of knowledge enlightenment. He died in 1942. After the war, he was listed as "Anti Japanese hero" by the Kuomintang government and entered the martyr's temple, but his memorial tablet in the martyr's temple was removed on September 3, 1958. On March 7, 2010, Ma Ying Jeou visited the bereaved family, and on March 29, 2010, Wang Minchuan will be consecrated to the martyrs' temple in Changhua County.
