Fan Yongqi

Fan Yongqi was a book collector in Qing Dynasty. The posterity of Fan Qin, a famous bibliophile, worked as a seal official and engraver in the 51st year of Qianlong. He made a living by collecting books and drawings, and paid special attention to the collection of the authentic manuscripts of the Ming Dynasty. According to the records of the general annals of Yin County, he was a master of calligraphy, a famous Confucian, a loyal minister, a scholar, a filial son, a lady and a monk. It also makes a preface to his time, ceremony, conduct and morality. He is also good at seal cutting. After his death, the collection of books and calligraphy and painting letters were circulated in the hands of booksellers.
