Personal life

Zhu Sheng. He studied music, games, miscellaneous arts, poetry and prose, and then concentrated on the collection of Jinshi calligraphy and painting. When he was more than 10 years old, he began to collect books. He collected more than 50000 volumes of ancient books from Uncle Jiang Kai. Zhang Shuwei, Fei Xiaolou, Weng Xiaohai, Guan Zhixiang and other scholars were employed to identify and sort out the books. Jiancang bookstores are "biexiazhai", "shuangfengshishi", "yizhiju" and "Beiyuan xiashanlou". Its "sibuqunzhai" is a special collection of Ming Dynasty editions, transcripts and other rare books. The largest collection is more than 100000 volumes, half of which are well-known and rare. His grandfather Jiang Kaiji built a library called "Yanfen thatched cottage", which was collected by Luo Youqin in the Guangxu generation. The library of "biexiazhai" is as famous as the "Yanfen thatched cottage" of his brother Jiang Guangyu. Scholars such as Qian Taiji, Yu Yue, Shao Yichen and Qian xizuo came to his home and found many copies of Song Dynasty manuscripts and block printed manuscripts, which were highly valued.

Main works

The series of biexiazhai and shewenzijiu are well edited and edited, which are highly valued by the artists. During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, he lived in the countryside. "Qunyutang yingguangtang remnant calligraphy" is engraved, which provides materials for the study of calligraphy. The book collection is printed with "notes of Fangan's study" and "seal of biexiazhai's book collection". Xi's books and printed books were destroyed during the Taiping Uprising. Guan Tingfen wrote a preface to biexiazhai record of calligraphy and painting, and described the origin of his collection in detail. Donghu Congji "all records the secret books he saw, and the inscriptions of gold and stone are also attached to Yan". This book is as important as Qian Taiji's "miscellany of exposed books". It has been printed with the following works: Biographical interpretation of poetry anthology, outline of Mencius, explanatory notes of Duan's ShuoWenJieZi, burial book, Huixi medical case, xupi surgical Zhengzong, record sequel by Qian Yiji, Penglaige poetry record by Chen Kejia, etc. He compiled Song poetry copy supplement, and also wrote Ouxiang hall collection, zhuobuyu record, huashucaotang poetry manuscript, etc.
