Jinxuan
Jin Xuan (?)? He was born in Chang'an County, Jingzhao county (now Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province), or a descendant of Jin Rili family, a famous official in the Western Han Dynasty.
Jin Xuan served as the Minister of Huangmen and the prefect of Hanyang county. He successively held the official posts of Yilang and Zhonglang general, and finally became the prefect of Wuling county. After the battle of Chibi, Liu Bei recommended Liu Qi as the assassin of Jingzhou. He made a southern expedition to Jingzhou counties. Jin Xuan was killed by Liu Bei's Army (he said he would surrender to Liu Bei). Wuling county also became the territory under Liu Bei's rule.
Life of the characters
Jinxuan character Yuanji, born in Jingzhao, is said to be the Minister of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. After Jin Rili, he was the prefect of Wuling in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and a subordinate of Liu Biao. There is a son of Jin Yi.
In the romance of the Three Kingdoms, Jin Xuan appears as the commander-in-chief of Wuling in the 53rd chapter. Facing the general Zhang Fei sent by Liu Bei, although Gong Zhi is engaged in persuading him to surrender, he still insists on going to war. Jin Xuan was defeated in the battle and wanted to return to the city. However, Gong Zhi betrayed him and shot him in the face with an arrow. He fell off his horse and died.
As for the outcome, there are still doubts. It is recorded in the history of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Shu and biography of the former leader: "the former leader expressed Qi as the governor of Jingzhou, and then went south to four counties. Jin Xuan, the prefect of Wuling, Han Xuan, the prefect of Changsha, Zhao fan, the prefect of Guiyang, and Liu Du, the prefect of Lingling, all fell. " This record shows that Jin Xuan surrendered to Liu Bei.
But at the same time here, Pei Songzhi has a note: "the note of Sanfu Jue Lu says: Jinxuan character Yuanji, Jingzhao person, was appointed huangmenlang and Hanyang prefect, captured Yilang, moved Zhonglang general, led Wuling prefect, and was robbed in case of attack. Zi Yi, I see Wu Benji of Wei. " That is to say, Jin Xuan was killed by Liu Bei's army.
There is a conflict between the two kinds of records. It is impossible for them to coexist, or there is a relationship between them.
