Academician Li Chang is rigorous in his studies, sincere in his conduct, fruitful in scientific research and profound in academic attainments. From the early establishment of Zhengzhou University to the construction of organic chemistry doctoral program, postdoctoral research mobile station and provincial key discipline Open Laboratory of Applied Chemistry in recent ten years, he has done a lot of work and made outstanding contributions in discipline construction. Character experience

He graduated from the Department of chemistry of Fudan University in Shanghai in 1951, and then remained as a teaching assistant. From 1954 to 1958, he studied as a graduate student in the Department of chemistry of Moscow University and obtained an associate doctorate.
