Zhang Nai
Zhang NaI (? ~ 1510) used the word "he". Licheng people of Jinan in Ming Dynasty. In 1475, the Jinshi first granted Xiangling county magistrate, and soon entered Beijing as the censor.

At that time, Emperor Xianzong was disgusted with the officials, and he had preached orders and censured them many times. Zhang Nai risked his life to admonish him and impeached many demonic monks and alchemists who were favored by Emperor Xianzong, which caused emperor Xianzong's dissatisfaction. He was demoted from Beijing to patrol Jiangxi. He helped governor Wang destroy the powerful, was falsely convicted, was demoted to Chenzhou magistrate. In the early years of Hongzhi, he was promoted to the provincial council of Henan Province. In the 15th year of Hongzhi (1502), he was further promoted to be an inspector general of Henan Province. Zhang Nai has been an official for many years in Henan Province. He has made great achievements in harnessing the flood of the Yellow River. In the autumn of the year, he was promoted to be the censor and governor of Liaodong. In view of the fact that the armament in Liaodong was abandoned and the grain and rates were difficult, the author put forward some suggestions, such as establishing the horse system, checking and stationing grain, clearing up the hidden land, and checking the customers, which were approved to be carried out. He also supervised the construction of more than 1000 Li side wall from Shanhaiguan to Kaiyuan. After rectification, Liaodong's border defense has greatly improved, and Zhang Nai has been praised by the government and the public.
After emperor Wuzong succeeded to the throne (1505), Zhang Nai was ordered to patrol Xuanfu (now Xuanhua, Hebei Province). In the first year of Zhengde (1506), he was called back to Beijing, and went to the right deputy capital Yushi and the Department of duchayuan. There was a magistrate who was sentenced to death for bribery and murder. Liu Jin, a eunuch, was bribed to reduce his sentence. Zhang Nai argued with Liu Jin and was detested by Liu Jin. He was demoted as the censor of the right capital of Nanjing. Soon after, Liu Jin sent Wang Yi to Liaodong to check the grain rates. Wang Yi returned to Beijing to report that the granary was moldy. Liu Jin used this as an excuse to arrest Zhang Nai and other officials who once served in Liaodong and put them in prison. She fined Zhang Nai 2000 meters and ordered him to be sent to Liaodong. Unable to undertake it, he was forced to serve as a slave in Liaodong and released to the people three years later. After Liu Jin Fu Zhu, Emperor Shizong ordered Zhang Nai to restore his official position. At that time, Zhang Nai had died.
