Cai Ge (1183-1253), a native of Jianyang (now Fujian), was named Bozhi and Suxuan.
Profile
The eldest son of Cai Yuan. He was born in the 10th year of Chunxi and died in the 12th year of Chunyou. He was born to be enlightened, read the classics, and learned highly and morally. He was a good teacher and friend with the brothers of Mo, hang and Quan. He taught his sons and nephews in accordance with the instructions of their families. In order to fight against evil and defend the way, we should try our best to fight against it by talking with scholars. We should write Zhishu to warn people and Guangren to encourage ourselves. He is not an official, but a staunch defender. Self chant: "wealth is not good, Lin Quan finished this life, wine because of drink, poetry or chance, autumn water and smoke fishing, spring field with rain farming, decadent seamless tower, and no cost management. Luo Yin, a Jinshi, praised and said: "the heaven is very talented, the book is well-known, the family heart is admonished, the propriety and righteousness are self described, the evil is slandered, the way is defended, the annotation and commentary of Mencius are explained, and the book is full of vigilance." In Ming Dynasty, Cai Youyu compiled his poems and essays as the volume of suxuangong collection. See the appendix of Su Xuan Gong Ji, Su Xuan cemetery by fan Hongzhong of Song Dynasty.
