Affected by rainfall, the main stream of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Basin, Jialing River and Wujiang River, Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake water systems, Beijiang River and Liujiang River of the Pearl River Basin, Qiantang River, Oujiang River and Jiaojiang River will flood, and large floods may occur in small and medium-sized rivers in the rainy area.
The Ministry of water resources stressed in consultation that monitoring, forecasting and early warning should be strengthened in the above-mentioned rain areas, river embankment inspection and defense should be done well, and heavy rainfall prevention should be done well.
