I was born on September 22, 2013 in Astana.

When I was 6 years old, my mother started teaching me foreign languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, and so on. I enjoy learning Chinese, and spending 3 hours a week studying Chinese is my happiest time. Last October, I represented elementary school students from the Kazakhstan region to Kunming, Yunnan, China to participate in the third "Chinese Bridge" World Elementary School Chinese Show. That was my first time going to China. I remember starting the countdown six months before departure, and the night before boarding the plane, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep all night. In Kunming, I met friends from all over the world and enjoyed Chinese cuisine that I had seen in books and on TV before.

Adults often ask me, 'Amir Khan, what are your aspirations when you grow up?'
