Pulangorgozi
Pulangorgozi, also known as "fruit harmony", is a kind of self-entertaining dance, which originates from Pulan County and is widely spread in Ali countryside. It is a kind of hand in hand, singing and dancing in groups of men and women, singing and dancing in festivals, singing and dancing.
On May 23, 2011, Prangorz was listed in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list by the State Council.
Stylistic features
The dance starts with a 2/4 beat, with a clear rhythm, a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere of labor. Pulan farming and pastoral areas are very fond of "fruit harmony", men, women, old and young can sing and dance. The basic steps of Pulangou Harmony are "three steps, one lift" and "three steps forward", which require generosity and strength. Its gestures are "close hands before" and "throw hands back and forth", lively and dexterous. Plangguo Harmony has a strong regional characteristics, which is inseparable from the geographical environment and customs they live in. Pulan County is a semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral area. People are accustomed to two kinds of life: agriculture and animal husbandry. Therefore, dancing has its own unique color, which is rare in Tibet.
Cultural protection
On May 18, 2010, the Ministry of Culture of China announced the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list of recommended projects (new entries). The "Prangorgozi" declared by Ali region of Tibet Autonomous Region was selected as the intangible cultural heritage of traditional dance items.
