The Oroqen nationality mainly distributes in the Oroqen Autonomous Banner, Buteha Banner of Hulunbeier League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the counties of Huma, Sunk, Aihui and Jiayin in Heilongjiang Province. The word "Oroqen" has two meanings: "people who use reindeer" and "people on mountains". The Oroqen nationality has its own language and generally uses Chinese.
On June 7, 2008, Oroqen folk songs were approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
artistic characteristics
Oroqen people, young and old, can sing and dance well. They often combine poetry, music and dance to form their own unique style. Folk songs have many kinds of tunes, various styles, impromptu lyrics, accompanied by singing. The folk songs of the Oroqen nationality are mostly folk songs, i.e. Zandawen tunes. These melodies are high and mellow, with a slight tremolo, and are generally fixed. The lyrics can be added improvisely and the melody can be played freely. The joy, anger and sorrow can be expressed by the rhythm of the tone. Zandawen's singing methods include duet, duet, solo, chorus, etc. The melodies are melodious, melodious and touching, which are often accompanied by "Naye" and "Shinaye".
