Manyin Park is located in the southeast of Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. It is about 2 kilometers away from the urban area. It is located in the triangle area where Lancang River and Liusha River converge, covering an area of more than 400 mu. There are more than 500 well-preserved ancient iron knife trees and vegetation, hills and rivers in the park, as well as rich ethnic characteristics of the human landscape, is a natural village park, formerly the Dai King's imperial garden, has a history of more than 1300 years. The scenic spot embodies three thematic features of "Dai Royal culture, Buddhist culture and Dai folk culture". Manyi Park is the oldest Park in Xishuangbanna. The Dai people used to call it Chunhuan, which means "the garden of soul". It used to be the imperial garden of the Dai King in Xishuangbanna. It is said that when the Dai Princess came to visit, the beautiful scenery here attracted the soul of the princess, so it was named.

Scenic spot

Man Yin Park was originally Dai King's Royal Garden, known as "Chunhuan", which means "Soul Garden". It is only 2 kilometers away from the city center and covers an area of 24,000 square meters. The main entrance is located in the south of the park. There are six scenic spots in the park, including National Culture Square, Vine Botanical Area, Yulan Garden, Free Life Lake, Buddhist Cultural Area and Tree Planting Memorial Area.

The Buddhist Cultural Area is well-known as the General Buddhist Temple of Xishuangbanna in Southeast Asia, Wahaojie, and Baita, Octagonal Pavilion, and Fangsheng Lake, where you can enjoy the rich Buddhist culture of the Southern Upper Seat through Buddhist activities such as incense entering, Buddhist thread worship, Buddhist release and visiting the Baye Sutra.

Six thousand square meters of black-core forest in the park, vines, pange, exotic flowers and trees, colorful, rivalry, shade protection summer, cool and pleasant. It is a beautiful scene for leisure and recreation, with green grass and beautiful flowers. Here you can also participate in the warm dragon boat race and the Dai folk sand-piling activities full of artistic interest.

Main attractions

Manlisten Park is the oldest Park in Xishuangbanna. It has a history of more than 1300 years. It used to be the imperial garden of the Dai King in Xishuangbanna. In the history of the Dai people, Manlisten Park was a place for feudal lords and chiefs to visit flowers. Legend has it that when Princess Dai visited the park, the beautiful scenery of the Park attracted the princess's soul, so it was named Chunhuan Park, which means "the garden of souls". There are natural landscapes, exotic flowers and garden buildings cultivated artificially in the garden. The visitors can appreciate not only the primitive natural scenery, but also the humanistic landscape with strong national characteristics.

Entering the gate of Man'an Park, the first thing to be seen is a bronze statue commemorating Premier Zhou Enlai, dressed in Dai suit, with a bowl on his left hand and an olive branch on his right to participate in splashing water. On the left of the bronze statue are two Bodhi trees planted by the Princess of the Kingdom of Thailand, which symbolize the friendship between China and Thailand.

The park also built holy Manxi Dragon Bamboo Shoot Pagoda, the Bajie General Buddhist Temple in Xishuangbanna, and the beautiful simulation of Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion, as well as four-corner Pavilion, hexagonal Pavilion and Dai Sala Pavilion and other facilities. Next to the park are the Dai villages of Manyin, which together form the three-in-one playground of parks, villages and Buddhist temples.

When you step into the park, you will feel the sense of returning to nature. You will deeply feel the ingenious combination of nature and man-made, which makes people feel pleasant and relaxed.

In Manlisten Park, there are Manlisten Village and Manlongkuang Village, which can be visited. In Yunjinghong City, there is Peacock Lake. Boats, wild bears, boars, pythons, peacocks and many kinds of birds can be seen in the park. During the day, it is open to tourists and has the taste of "imperial garden".

Bonfire party

The highlights of Man Ying Park are the evening performances of literature and art with national characteristics and the bonfire party. The performance entitled "Lancang Mekong River Night" combines the cultural characteristics of six Lancang-Mekong River basin countries in China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. It also includes the folk customs performances of Dai, Jino, Brong, Lahu, Yao and Hani ethnic minorities living in Xishuangbanna. The whole evening gathered ethnic customs, exotic scenery, witty and humorous on-site interaction in one. It shows the audience a multi-cultural Xishuangbanna.

After the performance, people hold a water lamp in their hands and walk through a dark, black-hearted forest. After making a wish in their hearts, they slowly put it into the free-living lake. In the slight waves, the water lamp with the good wishes of the Light-bearer drifts slowly towards the center of the lake. Turning around, people refused to disperse and gathered under the Water-Splashing monument of Premier Zhou. They danced and reveled with all minority girls and young people in Xishuangbanna around the campfire to feel the enthusiasm and liberty of minority nationalities. Unconsciously, a night full of mystery and joy has just passed.
