Taining is located in Taining County, Sanming City, northwest Fujian Province, on the southeast side of Shanling Branch in the middle part of Wuyi Mountains. Its east longitude is 116 degrees 53'-117 degrees 24', and its north latitude is 26 degrees 34'-27 degrees 08'. Its topography is mostly mountainous and hilly. The highest elevation in the county is more than 1700 meters and the lowest is 180 meters.

Taining has developed seven scenic spots of Jinhu, Shangqing River, Zhuangyuan Rock, Maoershan, Jiulongtan, Zhaixia Grand Canyon and Taining Ancient City, featuring water Danxia, Canyon communities, cave wonders and primitive ecology, with singularity, diversity, leisure and culture as one. The park is a comprehensive geological park, with typical young Danxia landform as the main body, volcanic rocks, granite, tectonic landforms and other geological relics.

Taining World Geopark is located in Taining County, Sanming City, with a total area of 492.5 square kilometers, of which Danxia landform area is 252.7 square kilometers. It consists of four parks: Shiwang, Dajinhu, Baxianya, Jinluoshan and Taining Ancient City Tourist Area.

Geopark is a comprehensive geological park with typical young Danxia landform as the main body, volcanic rocks, granite, tectonic landforms and other geological relics. It is a comprehensive geological park integrating scientific investigation, popular science education, sightseeing and vacation.

The natural ecology of the region is good, the magical and beautiful Danxia on the water, the deep and quiet meandering valley, the secluded Danxia caves, the strange peaks and pillars, and the dangerous and magnificent granite landscapes are integrated into the primitive and primitive natural ecology, forming a unique natural scenery system.

Geologists vividly call it "Big View Garden of Danshan Mountain in Bishui", "Canyon Cave Museum" and UNESCO experts evaluate it as "a model of China's Geopark".

Taining County belongs to the humid monsoon climate in the middle subtropical zone. It has four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 17 C, the frost-free period is about 300 days, the annual average precipitation is 1775 mm, the rainy season is from March to June in a year, the rainfall intensity is heavy in May and June, the rainfall is concentrated, the average relative humidity is 84%, and the average sunshine is 84%. The number of hours is 1738.7 hours, with an average snowfall of 4.3 days for many years. It belongs to the wet area with abundant water in the province.

The ancient city of Taining has a long history. It has the reputation of "Ancient Town of Han and Tang Dynasties, Town of Song and Ming Dynasties". It once had the grand occasion of "Two Top Scholars across the River, One Four Jinshi, One Lane and Nine Juren".

Historic celebrities such as Zhu Xi, Yang Shi and Li Gang have traveled, read and lectured here. Shangshudi Architectural Complex, a national key cultural relic protection unit, is the most well-preserved Ming Dynasty residential building treasure in the south of the Yangtze River in China. Merlin Opera, a local opera with strong local flavor, was awarded the title of "the first group in the world" by the Ministry of Culture.

Taining is also one of the 21 old revolutionary districts and central Soviet counties. There are some revolutionary historical relics in the city, such as Zhou Enlai, Zhu De's former residence, Red Army Street and the old site of the Oriental Military Command.

Kowloon pond

Jiulongtan Scenic Area is located in the northern core area of the World Natural Heritage Site and World Geopark in Taining County, Fujian Province. It is about 15 kilometers away from Taining County Town, 19 kilometers away from Taining Railway Station and 14 kilometers away from Taining Toll Station of Expressway. It is adjacent to Shangqing River, Hongshigou and Hezhuangyuan Rock. It is surrounded by nine winding mountain streams. Water converges in the pool and gets its name.

Jiulongtan is the most dense and complex Danxia Canyon Group in China. It is a typical area of Danxia landform development in Taining's youth. Ronghu Lake, streams, mountains, valleys, rocks, peaks and ditches vary in many ways. It is known as "the miniature pearl of Danxia Mountain and Water in Taining".

Jiulongtan Scenic Spot covers 15 square kilometers, 100 mu of water, and has a storage capacity of 360,000 cubic meters.

It is composed of 5 km long deep canyon, deep upper water line Valley and alley catchment. The widest part is more than 100 meters and the narrowest part is less than 2 meters.

Watching picturesque valleys, streams, vegetation and clear water in the pan-zhou pool, through the longest, narrowest and most magnificent water line in China and the deep water dragon cave, the pan-zhou pool shows a curved view, a journey, a perfect integration of Qing, Jing, Qi and Ye. It has a unique affinity for mountains, hydrophilics, oxygen and kindness. There are species between heaven and earth. The intimate pleasure is in it.

Along the 3200-meter long hydrophilic mountain walk, or climb the ladder to overlook the distant view, the scenery is infinite, enjoy a panoramic view; or walk along the waterfront trestle road, and sing with the fisherman mountain, like living in a fairyland outside the world, relaxed and happy, leisurely and comfortable. Danxia landscape and waterscape scenery in the scenic area are perfectly integrated, showing the artistic conception of fresh landscapes and elegant Kowloon.

There are more than 20 main land and water attractions in Jiulongtan. Waterfront attractions include: the first line of water sky, Jiulong Cave, Sacred Elephant Welcome, Yulong Rock, Qilong Gorge, fairy yarn cliff, rhinoceros looking at the moon, Yinglong Gorge, Danya cliff cliff, Turtle belly Tibetan Buddha, Chimpanzee Watching Pond, Yougu Water Lane, Qiqibaizuiyan, Longwei Gorge and so on.

Landscape attractions include: Jiulong Dachibi, Orchid Valley, Qingyun Tianti, Wugang Quercus community, early Danxia peak cluster, Nansuanzao, Xiantaoshan, Renmian Rock, Ancient Trestle Changtai, Work-word Maze Tan, Rock Wave Painting Wall, Sanxiang Drainage, Yuelong Valley, Guilong Mirage, Yiyiting Pavilion, endless life, Xixintan, Huanshui Gallery, Air Pavilion. Jiulongtan Scenic Area is also a paradise for the growth of animals and plants. The scenic spot is located in the subtropical monsoon humid climate, with distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and abundant rainfall.

There are many precious tree species, such as Taxus chinensis, Nanmu, Flower Palm, Camphor Tree, and many other precious medicinal materials, such as Polygonum multiflorum, Amomum villosum, Eucommia ulmoides, Phellodendron chinensis, as well as pangolin, white oriole, pheasant, stone sheep and other birds and animals, which make Jiulongtan present a wonderful realm of "beauty in nature, beauty in primitiveness".

Shang Shu Di

Located in the central part of Taining County, it is one of the most important protected cultural relics in China. It is the second residence of Shangshu Li Chunye, a scholar in the forty-fourth year of Wanli (1616) of Ming Dynasty and a prince of Wuzheng, Taibao Military Department of Beijing Ying Wuzheng, who was assisted by Tianqi.

It covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters (87 meters in length from north to South and 52 meters in width from east to west). The main building consists of five buildings, eight auxiliary buildings and five gates arranged in a word. Apart from halls, patios and corridors, there are more than 120 rooms, all of which are brick, stone and wood structures.

Roadways, courtyards, corridors and patios are all paved with granite slabs. The halls are square brick floors, and the patios have stone columns and water tanks. The road in front of the courtyard is divided into two gates, north and south, with a guard of honor hall and reception hall at the North end.

Yongdao has five gates, with plaques of Shangshudi, Zhuguo Shaobao, Shishiyi, Limen, Yilu, Shaoxing Xingchen, Yiguang Riyue, Dujian and other stone carvings. Shangshudi's architectural layout is rigorous and reasonable, which is of great value to the study of Ming Dynasty architecture.

Zhai Xia Grand Canyon

The scenic spot is located in the geological fault zone from Shaowu, Fujian Province to Heyuan, Guangdong Province. It is the Danxia landform canyon landscape formed and developed under the background of the rift basin of about 65 million years ago. It is deep and long, with beautiful and precipitous cliffs, dense plants in the valley, climbing trees with vines, rippling water, as if in the world. Outer Taoyuan.

The main geological landscapes are Danxia cave, Lane valley, line valley, red wall, stone wall, isolated peak, stone pillar, collapse accumulation, barrier lake, perforation, plate cross bedding, drifting gravel, stalactite and so on.

The main scenic spots are Wentianyan, Sanxianyan, Qitianxia, Yitianjian, Fozuyan, Turtle Climbing Wall, Tiandome Rock, Cuizhu Lake, Yunyaling, Jinlong Line Valley Group, Turtle Temple Cascade, Line Waterfall, Cathay First Teng, Millennium Liushu King, Qiandongtengbi, etc.

Zhaixia Grand Canyon Scenic Area is the key scenic area of the Dajinhu Park of the Taining World Geopark in China. It is the key scientific research scenic spot for the experts of "Shenshi" in Taining.

Jixi Village, located at the junction of Shancheng Town and Tianxiang Township, is 16 kilometers away from the county town. The scenic area covers an area of about 2 square kilometers. It is named after the scenic area, which looks like a giant dragon lying on its back.

Jinxi new Lake

Jinhu, short for Jinxi New Lake, is located in Taining County at the southern end of the Wuyi Mountains. Jinxi is a tributary of Futun River in the upper reaches of Minjiang River. It is named for the gold sand in the riverbed sand.

In 1980, the Chitan Hydropower Station with a installed capacity of 100,000 kilowatts was completed and put into operation. The dam with a height of 78 meters and a length of 253 meters intercepted Jinxi and formed an artificial lake with a total length of more than 60 kilometers, a surface of 50,000 Mu and a reservoir capacity of 870 million cubic meters upstream.

Taining great Jinhu

The Dajinhu Geopark is mainly composed of Danxia landscapes, which are also embellished with granite landscapes and humanistic landscapes.

The spatial distribution of Danxia geomorphology: From north to south, the diagenetic rocks of Longhu Town pass through Shangqingxi, Taining Chengguan to Shushan and Jiziding, and then south to Maoershan, Longwangyan, Baxianya (Dayading) to Longan Township. The four red basins are Shangqingxi, Jinhu, Longwangyan and Baxianyan in turn.

It is 34 km long in the northeast, 29 km long in the north and 29 km long in the south, with a total area of 215.2 km2. Overall, the terrain rises gradually from northeast to southwest. The highest landform of Dajinhu Danxia is Jiziding, Longwangyan and Dayading, with Baxianya (Dayading) as the peak and the altitude of 907. 6 m, it is also the most typical area with the best development of peak and pillar landforms and the most concentrated area of scenic spots.

There are also granite landscapes in the southwest of Danxia landform and humanistic landscapes in the middle. Geopark can be divided into 5 scenic spots (namely Shangqingxi scenic spot, Taining ancient city scenic spot, Jinhu scenic spot, Longwangyan-Baxianya scenic spot, Jinfushan scenic spot), 11 scenic spots, 13 scenic spots and 160 scenic spots.

World Geopark

Taining World Geopark is a comprehensive geological park with typical young Danxia landform as the main body, volcanic rocks, granite, tectonic landforms and other geological relics. It is a comprehensive geological park integrating scientific investigation, popular science education, sightseeing, leisure and vacation.

The Danxia Cave Museum in Taining Geopark can be called "Danxia Cave Museum" because of its large number of caves, large scale of caves, peculiar cave shape and combination, and rare ornamental caves. The cave can accommodate thousands of people, the small is not enough, anthropomorphic, animal-like, bird-like, unique shape.

Numerous odd caves are embedded in the red wall, or stacked in layers, or gathered in groups, which is magnificent. Water landscape with different width, dynamic and static features, Danxia landform and good ecological environment are integrated to create a "water Danxia" spectacle. The lake is broad and sparkling. There are mountains in the lake and lakes in the mountains.

Streams zigzag in the canyon, drifting among them as in the middle of the painting. Tan level is quiet, Danxia stands upright, like a paradise.

Ancient city of Taining

Taining Ancient City, located in Taining County. Shangshudi Ancient Architectural Complex in the ancient city is a national key cultural relic protection unit. This ancient building complex contains more than 127,000 square meters of buildings from the early Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty in each period of more than 500 years. It integrates official residences, folk houses, ancestral halls, auxiliary rooms for production and living, storefronts and ancient streets and alleys. It has a grand momentum, reasonable layout and excellent workmanship. Entering Shangshudi has the feeling of being invincible, entering Shidetang has the feeling of warm and harmonious big family, entering Li's ancestral temple will merge into the joyful arena of the ancient stage, entering the private living hall will produce a comfortable and quiet feeling, entering the Buddhist Hall of the old people chanting sutras, smelling the curling thread fragrance, there will be a kind of floating. The feeling of immortality... The whole Shangshudi ancient building complex is the witness of history from the whole to the part. The essence of architecture and the inheritance of culture are of great artistic value. It can be regarded as one of the most typical and complete ancient residential fine building communities in Northwest Fujian, southeastern Jiangxi and even southern Jiangxi.

Upper Qingxi

Shangqingxi is located in the northeast of Taining, upstream of Jinhu Lake, about 22 kilometers from county to Shangqingxi. It gets its name from Taoism. Shangqing is one of the "three Qing Kingdoms" of Taoism, that is, Taiqing, Shangqing and Yuqing. Later, it was widely used to refer to "fairyland". The greatest feeling of wandering on Qingxi is like entering a fairyland on earth, which makes you wander to fairyland and transcend vulgarity.

The Shangqingxi River is deep in the valleys of mountains, which merges the water of Lijiang River in Guilin, the mountains of Wuyi Mountain, the scenery of Zhangjiajie, the color of Jiuzhaigou, and the steepness of the Three Gorges into one gorge. Down the raft, the stream meanders between the peaks of red stone and green hills, bending, rushing, gorge pressing, turning back a thousand times, the sky is a mountain bully, the water seeks stone release, the mountains are heavy and the water is restored, there is no other place; the stream or rapids become a beach, the water does not knee-deep; or stagnate into a pool, unpredictable, flat in width, but more than 10 meters, narrow as if a lane, no place. Foot 2 meters, the sky leaves a line, only allow a raft to pass through, people pass through the valley, the two sides are rare, dense forests, square miles remain primitive state; perennial exotic flowers and weeds blooming, dark fragrance, the valley can be seen everywhere wild ducks, ducks, egrets, eagles flying in the mountains, playing in the water; more importantly, every year. A scenic spot can be from different angles, different distances, illusion of different scenery, different artistic conception, lifelike. The wild, secluded, strange and interesting nature of Shangqingxi constitutes the Millennium Primitive Eco-canyon meandering Grand View Garden which is rare in the world today.

Mount Mao

Maoershan National Forest Park is located in Taining County, Sanming County, Fujian Province. It is near the ten-mile Pinghu scenic spot of Jinhu Lake. It is a brilliant pearl on the Dajinhu tourism line. The Park covers an area of 2,560 hectares. The main scenic spots are Jinmaoshan scenic spot, Heming Mountain scenic spot, Huangjiahu scenic spot and Pinghu scenic spot.

Maoer Mountain National Forest Park is rich in tourism resources, where forest vegetation is green and lush, species are relatively rich, Fengyan waterfall spring is charming, a variety of human landscapes are fascinating, it can be said that there are many kinds of scenery, high visibility: first, green forest, lush vegetation. Park forest vegetation is flourishing, the forest coverage rate in the scenic area reaches 90%. There are abundant species resources. According to the preliminary report of the catalogue of plants in Maoer Mountain, there are more than 360 species of wild plants, rare tree species and 102 families. Among them, there are more than ten species of trees protected by the state, such as metasequoia, taxus, locust, acer, black tea and so on (the most rare of which are dozens of red tea trees). Nearly 25,000 Mu verdant forests are public. An important part of the park landscape is the foundation and one of the main characteristics of the forest park. The second is the steep peak rock and the strange tunnel gorge.

Emei peak

Emei Peak is located in Beixinqiao Township, Taining County, 24 kilometers away from the county town. It belongs to the southwest foot of the Wuyi Mountains. The main peak of Emei Peak is 1714 meters above sea level, which is the seventh peak in Fujian Province. In 2000, it was approved by the provincial government as a provincial nature reserve with an area of more than 2700 hectares, named for its similar mountain situation to Emei, Sichuan Province. Ancient trees and vines, exotic flowers and weeds, dangerous cliff peaks, shrubs and grasslands, birds and animals, insects, birds, cicadas, drifting clouds and mists are the portrayal of Emei Peak.

Zi Yuan rock

The Zhuangyuan Rock Scenic Area is located in Changxing Village, the northern suburb of Taining County, 11.7 kilometers away from the urban area, which is closely related to the lip and teeth of Shangqing River. According to county records, Zou Yinglong, a teenager, studied here during the Qingyuan Dynasty of the Southern Song Dynasty (the first prize in the second year of the Qingyuan Dynasty, when he was 25 years old). Later generations called his reading place the first prize. Half a kilometer away from Zhuangyuan Rock and Pipa Rock, it is the place where Tao Xian Xing Dexing practiced in Ming Dynasty. Landscape, Danya Cliff, Maolin Qishu, Youxia Qidong, Falls and Springs, the scenery is dangerous and beautiful, and there are many rare birds and animals. From the point of view of humanistic landscape, it has immersed profound Confucian culture and Taoist culture. As Zou Yinglong's reading place, the mountains and waters of Zhuangyuan Rock are deeply imprinted with Confucian culture, which has produced many legends, and later generations regard it as a holy place for educating their children to study hard.

Taining Geological Museum

Geological Museum is located in Baizhu Garden, Hubin Road, County Town. It covers an area of 120 mu and has a total investment of 5.5 million yuan. It is the most important project for "Shenshi" inspection. Geological Museum consists of service center, management center, exhibition area and greening area. Among them, the service center includes parking lot, windmill at entrance gate, Danxia stone box office, stone-like wooden steps, geological celebrity avenue, circular seven-star platform, geological celebrity stele and octagonal platform. The management center includes office, reception room, reference room, warehouse and so on. The exhibition area includes multimedia demonstration hall and geological heritage exhibition hall. Garden greening includes leisure trails, rest platform, water landscape and other projects.
