There are 79 postal routes in the city, with a total length of 3490 km. There are 158 urban delivery routes and 315 rural delivery routes, with a total length of 8612 km.
By the end of the year, the total capacity of telephone exchanges in the city was 5.3579 million. There are 3.912 million mobile phone users and 681700 fixed telephone users, including 417200 urban telephone users and 264500 rural telephone users. The telephone penetration rate is 140.07 units per 100 people. There are 1055700 Internet cable broadband users.
A total of 13.388 billion yuan of postal and telecommunications services were completed, up 144.1% over the previous year. Among them, the total amount of postal services was 664 million yuan, down 9.6%; the total amount of telecommunications services (comparable prices in 2015) was 12.723 billion yuan, an increase of 167.8%.
