Longtanggou Natural Ecological Scenic Area is located in Shuanglong Town Huashan Village, Xixia County, the hinterland of Funiu Mountains, Henan Province. It is 30 kilometers away from Xixia County, 160 kilometers away from Nanyang and 311 National Highway through this area. The traffic is very convenient. Scenic spots are concentrated, waterfalls are dense, melting mountains, rocks, water, forests, pools and secluded in one, known as "the Central Plains is unique, fairyland on earth".

Longtan Valley is a Valley-type tourist destination with a total length of 12 kilometers and a scenic area of 5 kilometers, with a natural drop of nearly 1 kilometer. The whole mountain body is like two giant dragons, showing the Dragon head, the Dragon mouth, the Dragon horn and the dragon body respectively. The upstream river of the waterfall group is called Xizhuang River, which originates from Laolongduo Tongtian Trench of Haoping Village, Erlangping Township. It flows into Shewei River through Haoping Village, Xizhuang River Bridge and Longtan Trench of Shuanglong Township Huashan Village. The total length of the river is more than 10 kilometers, while the drop is reduced from 1300 meters above sea level to 400 meters, especially from Xizhuang River Village to Fuzigou Longtan Trench of Huashan Village, which is about 3 kilometers long, with a relative height difference of 500 kilometers. There are 19 waterfalls and 72 pools in the scenic area. The waterfalls fall down one after another. The deep water of the pool is full of strange stones. Longtan Valley is 12 kilometers long and the scenic area is 5 kilometers long, with a natural drop of nearly one kilometer. From the bottom to the top, there are 19 ladder waterfalls, 72 large and small pools, and one waterfall and one pool are magnificent.

Qinglong Lake, Black Dragon Lake, Huanglong Lake, Bailong Lake, Shuanglong Lake, Notre Dame Lake, Kowloon... Tanshen Waterfall is connected by Tanshen Waterfall. The highest fall falls about 35 meters, and the lowest falls about 15 meters; the largest pool area is 800 square meters, the smallest 400 square meters; the depth of the pool varies from 2 meters to 50 meters, and the small waterfall pools are countless. The most famous "Four Lian Waterfalls" are connected by four waterfalls, snaking, flying straight down, with thousands of meteorologies. The two sides of the ditch are steep with steep stone walls, dense forests and streams pouring down from the cliffs; the torrents are pouring, sprays are splashing, fog is drifting, and the valleys are filled with waterfalls whistling and falling into the Longtan, which is very spectacular. In the summer and autumn season, the canyon is filled with silver, blue flowers and clouds. In autumn and winter, the mountains are red, the forests are dyed, the rivers are exhausted and the cold pools are clear, the lakes are clear and the fish are countable, which is a natural wonder.

It looks as if it is looking at the dragon's bathing. People call it Bajie bathing. From behind it looks like the bow of the boat, so it's also called "ship rock"; beside Black dragon Pool. There are three giant shark-like stones on the edge. The head of the fish stretches out into the pool, which is called "Three sharks make a dragon pool". In addition, there are "snow hanging on the wall", "tortoise crossing the river", "carp jumping the Dragon gate" and so on. Wonderful stones are everywhere, in different shapes, vivid and natural.

Longtan Valley scenic area is densely forested with 96.5% forest coverage. Ancient trees are everywhere, there are flowers in three seasons and evergreen in four seasons.
