Life of the characters
He joined the Communist Party of China in September 1938. He took part in revolutionary work in October 1937. In October 1937, he was a teacher of Anti Japanese primary school in Gaoyang County, Hebei Province. In July 1938, he served as secretary of Gaoyang County peasant association. In the spring of 1939, he served as the director of the youth Rescue Association of Gaoyang County, the president of the new construction newspaper of the 4 districts in central Hebei, and the director and vice minister of the Propaganda Department of the 9 prefectural Party committee in central Hebei. During the war of liberation, he served as the director, Chief Secretary and vice minister of the Propaganda Department of the Party committee of Jizhong district. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as director and vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Publicity Department of the Hebei provincial Party committee, Secretary of the Qinhuangdao Municipal Party committee, member and Secretary General of the Hebei provincial Party committee, member and Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party committee. He was persecuted at the beginning of the cultural revolution. In October 1970, he served as deputy director of Xingtai regional Revolutionary Committee, deputy director of Policy Research Office of provincial Revolutionary Committee, deputy director of Political Department, member of Standing Committee of provincial Party committee and director of propaganda department. In 1978, he was a member of the Standing Committee, deputy secretary and Secretary of the provincial Party committee of Hebei Province. From February 1980 to April 1988, he served as chairman and Secretary of the Party group of the 4th and 5th CPPCC of Hebei Province. He retired in December 1990. Deputy to the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
