Zhu Jialin
Zhu Jialin (1892-1938.5.11) was born in Weigong Village, Mancheng District, Hebei Province. He graduated from Baoding military academy and was the major general and commander of 115th brigade of 4039th division of national revolutionary army. When he was stationed in Anyang, Henan Province, he captured two local bandits, seized a large amount of smoke and earth, and burned them all. At that time, smoke and earth were equivalent to gold. Zhu Jialin usually wore military uniform and cloth shoes. He was frugal and honest. On May 11, 1938, he was ordered to lead the whole army to break through the siege from Peixian County, Jiangsu Province, and was besieged by the Japanese Legion. When there were only ten soldiers left under his command, Zhu Jialin grabbed a Japanese jeep, rushed to the Japanese army, shot at the enemy, and finally died.
On September 1, 2014, it was listed in the list of the first batch of 300 famous Anti Japanese heroes and heroes published by the Ministry of civil affairs.

Life story
Zhu Jialin graduated from Baoding Military Academy in 1922. He was an alumnus of Chiang Kai Shek and a classmate of Chen Cheng. When he was in school, Zhu Jialin was upright and resolute. Apart from his lessons, he seldom interacted with his classmates. Later, Chen Cheng became the commander of the group army, and even if Zhu Jialin graduated from Lushan officer training regiment, he refused to be promoted by Chen Cheng, let alone become his direct line because of Chiang Kai Shek's alumni relationship. When Zhu Jialin was stationed in Anyang, Henan Province, he captured two local bandits, seized a large amount of smoke and earth, and burned them all. At that time, smoke and earth were equivalent to gold. At ordinary times, Zhu Jialin always wears military uniform and cloth shoes. After the soles are worn out, he makes new soles and old uppers. In the end, all of them died bravely, and none of them surrendered. After the sacrifice, Zhu Jialin's relic had only one military leather bag, which contained a Parker gold pen. On the second night of the breakout, Zhu Yitang, a brother of Zhu Jialin's family, and Tian Yufeng returned to the battlefield, took out Zhu Jialin's body and buried it behind the earth temple in xiaolizhuang, Xiguan, Peixian county. On June 5, 1938, the national revolutionary army held a memorial meeting for brigade commander Zhu Jialin in Luohe, Henan Province.

Historical evaluation
Zhu Jialin, the first general of the Chinese Kuomintang who won the certificate of revolutionary martyr in Shaanxi Province in 1988, was recognized as a revolutionary martyr by both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.
People's Memorial
September 3, 2014 is the 69th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression. At 10 am on that day, the memorial hall of Baoding military academy held a memorial unveiling ceremony for General Zhu Jialin, a martyr from all over the city. The bronze statue of Zhu Jialin was also completed on the same day. Nearly 30 descendants of Zhu Jialin from Beijing, Shaanxi, Henan, Hunan and Hebei participated in the activity.
Zhujialin memorial is located in the east of Baoding military academy Memorial Hall. It has gold characters on a black background. On the front, there are several big characters "zhujialin Memorial" in the middle. On both sides, his main life and sacrifice are recorded. On the back, some of his descendants' names are engraved. Zhu Di, the granddaughter of Zhu Jialin, introduced the main deeds of the general and expressed her sorrow. The bronze statue of Zhu Jialin stands in the East Hall of Baoding military academy Memorial Hall. It is about 60 cm high and is a bust on the front. Wearing a national revolutionary army cap, the bronze statue has a firm eye and vivid carving.
In 1988, Zhu Jialin was regarded as a revolutionary martyr by the Ministry of civil affairs, so he became one of the few Anti Japanese martyrs recognized by both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. On September 1, 2014, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced the list of the first batch of 300 famous Anti Japanese heroes and heroes who died for their country in the Anti Japanese war. The name of Zhu Jialin was listed with Wang Mingzhang, commander of the 122nd division of Sichuan army, who also died bravely in the Xuzhou battle.
