Character evaluation
Zhang wanting's works are characterized by her traditional love style. Her works are mostly about love. (review of Literary Life Weekly) Zhang wanting's works always have a strong background of the times, and the new and the old, the poor and the rich, the tradition and the trend, the eastern and Western culture, etc. are the elements that her films will not lack. (Qianlong news online review) in the vigorous "new wave", her films depict all kinds of helplessness in love with women's unique sensitivity and oil painting like lens.
