Early experience

Ma Guoming's father is a mechanical engineer. Besides his parents, he also has twin sisters. He is the youngest in the family. In 1991, at the age of 17, Ma Guoming emigrated to Canada to study mechanical engineering at the University of British Columbia. During his college years, Ma Guoming participated in a drama company on campus and often took part in performances, thus cultivating his interest in performing arts.
