Character evaluation
Qiao Liang appears to be gentle and elegant, showing a kind of calm, leisure and elegance. With a typical academic tradition and a strong literary atmosphere, he is very special in TV and film directors. The pursuit of quality has become the consistent feature of his works. His works show a distinctive style deeply influenced by the academic atmosphere and with strong personal characteristics. All of Qiao Liang's TV and film works spare no effort in the pursuit of audio-visual language. In his works, we can obviously feel a strong and positive sense of modeling. Due to the systematic training of audio-visual language, in Qiao Liang's eyes, TV and film are only different media means, but there is no absolute distinction in artistic techniques. Therefore, when he made these TV movies, he never took them as the concept of television. At the same time, he is good at using the characteristics of the environment to find different positions and angles, forming rich and unique perspectives and interesting or implied composition (review of contemporary film).
