Zhang Meng

Zhang Meng, born in Tieling City, Liaoning Province on April 12, 1975, is a director, screenwriter and producer in mainland China. He graduated from the Department of stage art of Central Academy of drama.

In 2007, he directed his first film, happy ears, which started his career as a director. With this film, he won the best new director award of the 9th Chinese Film Media Award. In 2011, with the comedy "steel piano" written and directed by himself, he was shortlisted for the best director award of the 28th Golden Rooster Award and the 48th Golden Horse Award of Taiwan film. In 2014, he directed the feature film victory. In 2016, he was the producer of the feature film the knife in the clear water. In 2017, he directed the comedy "gun waist flower". In 2019, he directed the feature film on the balcony.

In 2019, directed by Xu Xiangyun, supervised by Huang Lu and starred by Wang Longzheng and song Ningfeng, the film "nineteen years of pursuing the murderer" will be released on November 22, 2019.

Early experience

Zhang Meng's mother Chen Peiyun is an actor, and his father Zhang Huizhong is a comedy director. His father's films and TV works are all realistic works.
