Chen Gang

Chen Gang

Chen Gang, male, Han nationality, was born in April 1965 in Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1986 and began to work in August 1990. He graduated from the Department of chemistry of Peking University, majoring in inorganic chemistry with a postgraduate degree, a doctor of Science degree and a professor level senior engineer.

At present, he is secretary of the Party group, vice chairman and first Secretary of the Secretariat of the all China Federation of trade unions.

Appointment and removal

In October 2020, the CPC Central Committee approved that Comrade Chen Gang should be appointed Deputy Secretary of Hebei provincial Party committee.

On November 27, 2020, the 20th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th people's Congress of Hebei Province passed the decision to remove Chen Gang from the post of vice governor of Hebei Provincial People's government.

On February 4, 2021, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th Executive Committee of the all China Federation of trade unions elected Chen Gang as the vice chairman of the all China Federation of trade unions; the Ninth Plenary Session of the presidium of the 17th Executive Committee of the all China Federation of trade unions elected Chen Gang as the first Secretary of the Secretariat of the all China Federation of trade unions.
