Character evaluation
Shu Huan is a little fat, wearing a pair of glasses, with a charmingly naive manner, a slow voice and a bit of cold humor. (review of Chongqing Morning Post)
He has rich and professional experience, attaches great importance to the control of stories and characters, and is good at depicting characters and enriching characters. (people's online review)
His works are rarely neat and playful. (Sohu Entertainment review)
Compared with those who talk about their artistic ideals, Shu Huan has a down-to-earth simplicity. His comedy has formed its own "bundle style": it mainly relies on characters and situations to create comic effect, rather than dialogue. Whether it's the militia Ge Erdan, Thai Jiong, Hong Kong Jiong, or the pancake man, which is supervised by him, all have a strong protagonist who plays the myth of counter attack from time to time. Another characteristic of "bundle comedy" is the standardized and typed operation. Shu Huan emphasizes audience segmentation rather than "enjoying both refined and popular tastes".
