In November 1940, Huang Zhengjie took part in the youth Anti Japanese meeting of the Second District of Xinghua (Daduo) led by Wu Tiemin. The next year, he led his village Huang Dexing, Ren Yongfa, Zhao Zhengyu (martyr) to join the New Fourth Army as a scout and monitor of the Xinghua independent regiment.

Life
In 1943, he went south to Jiangsu and Zhejiang with general Su Yu and served as the commander of reconnaissance and security platoon. During the war of liberation, he served as the reconnaissance guard platoon leader, repair director, transportation captain and so on. In 1948, Huang Dexing won the third class of heroes in East China. After liberation, he served as the chief of general affairs section of Northern Jiangsu military region, the head of Yancheng hydrological station, Sheyang Mechanization Research Institute, Agricultural Science Research Institute, etc.
In April 1964, he died of illness and was declared a revolutionary martyr by the people's Committee of Sheyang County.
