Yu Yonghai, born in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, graduated from the 13th performance Department of Shanghai drama academy, is a new generation actor in mainland China.
In 2014, he starred in his first TV play, step by step, in which he played young Yin Chenggui. In 2015, he appeared as Cao Qin in the TV play, biography of the female doctor. In 2016, he played the ninth prince in the TV series Jingtian Yuelei, and later his partners Yang Shuo and Wu Gang in the TV series lurking before dawn. In the play, he was well known for playing Fang min. In 2017, he partnered with Yang Mi and Huang Zitao in the TV drama negotiator directed by Liu Yizhi, which tells the emotional story of Tong Wei, a senior negotiator, and Xie Xiaofei, the heir of a secret and wealthy Chinese family in the United States, who met and fell in love with each other by fate. In the play, he plays situ Zhigao. Later, he played the villain Xu Lai in Fu Yao, an inspirational TV series adapted from the novel Fu Yao queen, directed by Yang Wenjun, Xie Ze and Li Cai, with Yang Xiaopei as the chief producer and starring Yang Mi and Ruan Jingtian. Later, he took part in the TV play autumn cicada starring Ren Jialun and played Kenji Yamamoto in the play.

Due to Yonghai's leading role, the large-scale ancient costume suspense detective film "dunjia Tianshu" will be launched soon.
