Yang Mingjian was born in Shanghai in 1958. He studied in drama class and rehearsed many plays. He made a big hit in the TV series "Si Xi Lin men". Then, a number of TV dramas were shot. In 1986, he was admitted to Shanghai TV station as an actor.
