He has studied and acted in "joining the army to bid farewell to the kiln" (playing Xue Pinggui), "Hongni pass" (playing Wang bodang), "Sanchakou" (playing Ren Tanghui). In the spring of 1946, he went to Wuxi, Changzhou and other places to perform with the troupe. In succession, he performed "Maolong diaoxiao" in "wopao", jade dragonfly and Pearl Tower. In 1948, he joined the Yuebai Opera Troupe. Later, he co performed with Ye Suqin to form Su Chun Yue Opera Troupe, which successively performed in Shanghai Haiyuan, Zhijiang, Xindu and other cinemas. After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, he rehearsed such new anti hegemony and anti feudalism plays as "nine pieces of clothes" and wrote his own play "stepping on a new life" to participate in the Spring Festival Opera Competition and win the prize. In the second half of 1950, he was invited to Nanjing to join the Xinsheng Yue Opera Troupe organized by Ye Suqin. He performed the Yue Opera "Revenge of the Prince" adapted from Shakespeare's famous plays, "iron man's baby" (i.e. "Romeo and Juliet") and the fashion play "Begonia". He served as deputy director of Nanjing opera Improvement Association. One year later, at the invitation of Hangzhou Minyi drama club, he and Xiaoshui Zhaohe donated the Great Wall as a charity performance to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea. Before long, the folk art troupe was renamed Jiangnan Yueju troupe and served as the head of the troupe. In the winter of 1953, he entered the Yueju experimental troupe of East China Academy of traditional Chinese Opera (the predecessor of Shanghai Yueju). In the spring of the next year, he and Fu Quanxiang co starred in "Brocade" and other plays. In 1954, he performed in the East China Opera Performance conference, playing the role of Guo Zhen, and won the second prize of actor. In the spring of 1956, he went to Korea to perform. After returning to China, he co starred with Wang Wenjuan in Liu Yi's biography, Jin Caifeng and LV Ruiying in biyuzan, splitting the mountain to save his mother and Meng Lijun, and Meng Liying in Chaoyang ditch. In 1959, he went to Sichuan with the troupe to learn from Sichuan opera artists Jiang Xiaofeng and Yi Zhengxiang about Fangpei and shuilao Moyin. After returning to Shanghai, he combined the drama "shuilao Mo Yin" with Yue drama "Ye Xiang steal Yin" and compiled it into "steal gold seal". In the early 1960s, he also participated in the shooting of the film "biyuzan" and performed in Hong Kong. After the cultural revolution, at the invitation of Hangzhou Yueju Opera Troupe, he co starred with Zhang qinjuan in biyuzan, CO adapted jade dragonfly with Chen Jing and Liu Haozi, and acted as the director and actor of Xu Yuanzai. Later, at the request of Lanzhou Yueju troupe, he participated in the creation and rehearsal of the legend of Xiangfei, starring in Qianlong. After 1984, he worked in the theatre studio, and cooperated with Chen Chu in the adaptation and creation of "let's get married", "seven leaves and one flower" and other dramas, shooting "biyuzan" as Alin. He also took part in the shooting of the TV series "dream of Red Mansions" (as Jia Yu Village). died of myocardial infarction in hospital on December 9, 2011. He was 81 years old.
