Ding Wen, male, Han nationality, born in October 1967 in Shucheng, Anhui Province, graduated from the Central Party school with a master's degree and a doctor of law. He started work in July 1990 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1999.
He used to be deputy director and member of the Party group of Guangdong Administration for Industry and commerce, executive vice mayor and Deputy Secretary of the Party group of Meizhou municipal government, and now member of the Standing Committee of Meizhou municipal Party committee.

Appointment and removal information
On May 26, 2016, Meizhou held the 38th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Sixth People's Congress. According to the relevant provisions of the organic law of the local people's congresses and local people's governments of the people's Republic of China, the meeting decided to accept Ding Wen's request to resign from the post of vice mayor of Meizhou Municipal People's government and report it to the first session of the seventh Meizhou Municipal People's Congress for the record.
