Sun Yue (October 26, 1930 to May 1, 2018) is an actor from Yuyao. Graduated from Tianjin Zhida middle school. In 1949, he went to Taiwan with the 208 division of the youth army and joined the armored buffalo troupe. Since then, he began his acting career. Taiwan actor, the 20th Golden Horse movie king. His representative works include "the wind and cloud of the Yangtze River", "taking the wrong bus", "dragons playing with Phoenix" and so on.
At 9:56 p.m. on May 1, 2018, Sun Yue died in NTU Hospital at the age of 88.

Sun Yue, a Taiwanese actor. He has been engaged in military drama performance and TV program hosting. He has played in dozens of TV plays. In 1963, he worked as a supporting role of villain. He was a well-known villain in Taiwan's film industry. Later, he changed to a comedy role. In 1966, he was an actor of Guolian film company, playing a villain role in the film "dawn". In 1969, he starred in the Yangtze River and won the best supporting actor award of the 7th Golden Horse Award. In 1970, he acted in "the passer and the swordsman" directed by Zhang zengze. He was an actor in Taiwan TV station in 1971. In 1979, he starred in director Hu Jinquan's "rain on an empty mountain". In 1983, he starred in Yu Kan Ping's Tragic Song and dance film "taking the wrong bus", playing the role of the hero, retired veteran mute uncle, and won the best actor award of the 20th Golden Horse Award. In 1984, he starred in "Mo's second spring" as Mo Zhankui, which made audiences cry again. The film won the best feature film award of the 21st Golden Horse Award.
In 1984, he also cooperated with Hong Kong directors and successively took over films such as "dragon and tiger" (1987) directed by Lin Lingdong and "dragon and phoenix" (1989) directed by Hong Jinbao.
In January 2007, Sun Yue was diagnosed with stage I lung adenocarcinoma. He recovered well after surgery and was discharged a few days later.
At 9:56 p.m. on May 1, 2018, Sun Yue died in NTU Hospital at the age of 88. Famous artist Zhang Xiaoyan also expressed her mourning on Facebook.
