Character evaluation
Ying Liang has accomplished a director's natural growth from short film to long film. And I feel that among the younger generation of directors, Ying Liang is a relatively mature director in the use of commercial films. (comments by Jia Zhangke) he is far away from the ideal of business. The lower the cost, the less pressure. This is the principle of Yingliang's filming. On the other hand, he needs absolute freedom of creation. (Chongqing Morning Post review) the restriction of conditions not only did not affect his creative mentality, but also made him achieve a free state of creation. Without considering the real problems concerned by traditional films, such as the recovery of funds and the acquisition of screening permission, he can make a work purely in limited space. Instead of being a film director, Ying Liang is closer to art Home. (review of contemporary art and investment)
