Sun Jie
Sun Jie, male, was born in Laiyang, Shandong Province in January 1986. He is a basketball player and a point guard. He plays for the CBA Qingdao double star men's basketball team.
Sun Jie began to fight for CBA in 2003. He played for Shandong team, Qingdao team and NBL Guangxi team of CBA.
Sports career
In June 2002, Sun Jie entered the Shandong youth team.
In April 2003, Sun Jie joined Shandong Golden basketball club and began his CBA career. In 2007, Sun Jie was selected into the U20 national youth team.
On March 20, 2011, Sun Jie won the first place in the preliminaries with 16 points in the three-point competition of CBA all star game. On March 21, 2011, Sun Jie won the three-point competition by beating Zhang Qingpeng, the champion of the previous year's three-point competition, with a score of 21 points.
On the morning of April 8, 2011, Shandong Golden basketball club received a formal notice from China Basketball Association: Sun Jie, the leader of golden men's basketball team, was selected into the new China Men's basketball training team by virtue of his outstanding performance in 2010-2011 season.
The 2012-13 season is Sun Jie's last season in Shandong men's basketball team. This season, Sun Jie averaged 26 minutes and scored 7.1 points.
After the end of 2012-13 season, Sun Jie left Shandong team and switched to Guangxi Weizhuang team of NBL League. In 2013-14 season, Sun Jie averaged 20.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.8 steals. This season, Sun Jie won the MVP awards of the regular season and the finals, helping Guangxi Weizhuang team to win the championship. Sun Jie won the CBA three-point competition
On July 23, 2014, the Asian Basketball network awarded the major awards of 2014 National Men's Basketball League. Sun Jie won the best defender, the best local player and other awards, and was selected into the best first team. In April 2015, Sun Jie briefly returned to Shandong gold and trained with the team, but left the team two months later.
On June 17, 2015, Sun Jie officially signed a three-year contract with Qingdao double star men's basketball team and returned to CBA.
Qilu.com on July 8, 2018, former Shandong men's basketball captain Sun Jie has left QingDao after the end of his contract with Qingdao men's basketball team.
