Zheng Wentang
Zheng Wentang, born in July 1960, is a member of the Communist Party of China.
He once served as the Secretary of the Committee of North China University of technology.
Biography of characters
In 1983, he graduated from Northeast University with a bachelor's degree in management engineering.
In 1989, he graduated from Beijing University of technology with a master's degree in management engineering.
In 2002, he graduated from Southwest University of Finance and economics with a doctor's degree in economics.
He once served as the dean of School of economics and management, director of Organization Department of the Party committee, deputy secretary of the Party committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, and vice president of Beijing Institute of Architectural Engineering (now Beijing Jianzhu University).
In October 2011, he served as secretary of the Party committee of Beijing Agricultural University.
In November 2015, he was the president of North China University of technology.
From May 2017 to November 2020, he served as secretary of the Committee of North China University of technology.
He is also the vice chairman of the economic and management academic committee of China Nonferrous Metals Society, the member of Beijing Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Evaluation Committee, the part-time professor of Asia Pacific Research Institute of Peking University, the undergraduate teaching evaluation expert of the Ministry of education, and the deputy of Shijingshan District People's Congress.
Main contributions
Before he was promoted to associate professor in 1993, he participated in editing and Deputy editing 9 textbooks and works, including technical economics, complete book of enterprise management of China nonferrous metals industry, enterprise management of China nonferrous metals industry, business management, etc., published more than 30 papers in various journals and magazines, and participated in 8 scientific research projects.
Since 1993, he has presided over or participated in 8 scientific research projects, published 33 academic papers in policy and management, Beijing Statistics, science and Technology Expo, Guangming Daily and other media, published 5 books such as reform and Innovation: Research on enterprise reengineering, and won 6 Awards above the provincial and ministerial level.
Honors
The school reform project of North China University of technology "teaching reform practice of securities and futures" won the first prize of 2000 teaching achievement of North China University of technology and the second prize of 2001 Beijing Municipal People's Government Education and teaching achievement (Higher Education);
"Practice and innovation of off campus apartment management of North China University of technology" won the second prize of China education innovation achievement of "general research group of China education innovation development" of Ministry of education in 2003;
"Research on F-statistics and distribution and its application in criminal technology", a key scientific and technological project of the Ministry of public security, won the third prize of the third Statistical Science and technology research achievement project of Beijing Municipal Bureau of statistics and Beijing Statistical Association in 1996, and the first prize of National Statistical Science and technology Progress Award;
Yunnan scientific research fund "Research on sudden disaster of artificial excavation and natural mountain slope complex and its impact on environmental engineering safety" won the second prize of Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2003;
Zheng Wentang won the title of "excellent young backbone teacher of Beijing" in 1993 and "excellent teacher of Beijing" in 1995;
