Character evaluation
In the comedy "Hainan Chicken Rice", Bi Guozhi reflects the psychological changes of the overseas Chinese with a simple image structure. Although his pace is not so smooth, from time to time he will burst out creative sparks. His works reflect his divergent thinking and multiple perspectives (Phoenix Entertainment review), whether they are "war drum" which combines the types of gangs and the culture of elite war drum, or "little girl" which focuses on helping girls, and even "control" which is futuristic.
