Early experience
Yao Leyi, formerly known as Yao Yali, was born in Hong Kong on September 23, 1973 in Nanhai County, Guangdong Province. Because was discovered by the star scout, shot the steam bathroom and the wedding dress advertisement, and signed a contract with TVB, thus appeared in the entertainment circle.
Acting experience

Personal life
On January 26, 2012, she took wedding photos with her fiance, Alan, in central, Hong Kong, and announced the good news. On April 26 of the same year, she married at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Hong Kong. Yao Leyi gave birth to her daughter on December 22, 2015.
