Wu Ye
Wu ye, male, Han nationality, was born in March 1972 in Huangmei, Hubei Province. He graduated from Hubei youth political school (now Hubei Youth Vocational College) in June 1992. He graduated from the Party School of Hubei provincial Party committee with a postgraduate degree. He began to work in July 1992 and joined the Communist Party of China in November 1995.
At present, he is member of the Standing Committee of Shiyan Municipal Party committee and Minister of publicity.

Appointment and removal information
On March 10, 2020, the 22nd Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Shiyan City approved Comrade Ye Wu's request to resign from the post of vice mayor of Shiyan Municipal People's government due to job changes. According to Article 27 of the organic law of the local people's congresses and local people's governments of the people's Republic of China, the 22nd Meeting of the Standing Committee of the fifth Shiyan Municipal People's Congress decided to accept Comrade Wu Ye's request to resign from the post of vice mayor of Shiyan Municipal People's Government and report it to the Municipal People's Congress for the record.

On November 24, 2016, the supervision department of Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection held a press conference to report 9 cases of outstanding environmental issues.
