Character evaluation
Mi Jiashan participated in the production of the 1980 film "Maple", which reflects the fighting of the cultural revolution, and then directed "stubborn master". This work accurately interprets the spirit of Wang Shuo on the screen. His works are the best specimen of the subjectivity struggle of Chinese filmmakers in the 1980s. These parts of the history of Chinese film and television can't go around Mi Jiashan (Phoenix Culture Review). Mi Jiashan is an extremely low-key director. He is well-known in the film world for directing the film "stubborn master", and then he became one of the best directors in China (Tencent online review). "Stubborn master", directed by Mi Jiashan, is the most influential Chinese film (commented by Feng Xiaogang).
